Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rooms are very small if you have large suitcases it is problem. Difficulty in moving around the bed - space too small in room 304. Bath with shower in it is too high for older people. Difficult to get in and out, especially when it is wet. Can easily slip and fall.
Location good. Room is modern and new.

Arrived at the hotel early and were allowed to check-in ahead of schedule and start our sightseeing in Zurich! Hotel staff also directed us to parking that saved a considerable amount.

Being on the road side of the hotel is very noisy if you chose to open the windows in a hot July day. The entrance of the hotel and the integration of the restaurant with the reception is to ambitious small space making it unpleasant for guests having breakfast with others trying to wait inline for the reception while others trying to pass through to the elevator or on their way out.
The location is great. The theme of Swiss Chocolate is innovative.

No restaurant so no where to have dinner etc or order that kind of room service though a basic breakfast was available and there was a coffee machine at reception where you could pay 3 CHF for a coffee at any time! Tiny lobby. Swiss air con rules mean the room was really quite stuffy in July. It wasn’t as bad as some reviews I’ve read have said but you did need the window open and before midnight it is very noisy due to the area. Staff were not overly warm but friendly enough and responded to communications quickly.
Chocolate fountain and little chocolates at reception at all times; nice room and great housekeeping; comfy bed and amazing location right in Old Town near the Limmat, tram routes , and restaurants. Staff on reception 24hr and so when my flight was delayed past midnight I phoned ahead and all was well. Good WiFi.

It's a short 7min walk to the hotel, conveniently located to waking all of old towne Zurich, including a 15 min walk to Lake Zurich where you can picnic and swim

check-in is 3:00pm literally, even if rooms are ready. Bed is uncomfortable and is almost enclosed with 2 walls. Had to crawl to the foot of the bed to get up. The whole bathroom floor gets wet and flooded when taking a shower.

Hotel is in the rush street, isn’t possible to sleep with an open window, hotel has an aircondition, but for me it isn’t so comfortable as a fresh air. Even if window is closed, cars are a bit heard, but sleeping was possible well
Great location in the city centre, ten minutes walk to old town, lot of restaurants and bars in neighbour streets, railway station is less then ten minutes walk (just cross the bridge), tram stop almost in from of the hotel. Breakfast was good, not full english breakfast, but still good choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice small room with a kettle, tea and instant coffee. Hotel and room was clean.

It is nicely decorated ”Ibis” (2-star hotel) for the price of a ”Novotel” (4-star hotel). Nothing particularly wrong with it apart from the price for what you get.

Shower cabin is quite small, but for short stay is okay.
Location is great, 5 min away from the Zurich HB. Compare to other hotels, check out is at 12:00 and they allowed us to stay 30 min more for free. After that, we were able to use baggage storage room for free.

We were a group of friends sharing a triple room - the room and bathroom were too small for three adults. Also, the ceiling was lowered/vaulted in some parts of the room, so not all of it was usable, making it even smaller. The lobby was also very small, which contributed to the overall feeling of the small space.
Great location, staff were lovely and very helpful.
