It doesn’t not offer restaurant in the evening and to our big surprise no TV BUT it is clearly written on the pictures so our mistake.

The location is perfect near the lake and the magnificent park from the Hotel castel Rooms are clean but unfortunately some clients with not much respect did smoke in the room Clean and quite basic but nice furniture

The pillows were flimsy. No tv in the room.

The cleanliness, water and our room was great for what we needed. The front desk staff was amazing and kind. It was a huge plus for us that there was a laundry machine to use for free. Really beautiful location.

No AC - had to struggle to get FAN in the room. It is high time hotels have ACs as few months are really HOT.

The lack of air conditioning and screens on the windows made sleeping uncomfortable. While it cooled down at night, the room was stuffy at times. Breakfast was too expensive

Only things that can be said is no bug screen on window or air conditioning (I was aware when I booked) but it would be good to have.

As there is no aircon, so the room was quite warm and stuffy...the windows had to be opened but this then made the room rather noisy due to the nearby bus stop. Also, the room smelt a little bit smoky.

Convenient as we had a function at the Schadau Schloss, and a bus stop was directly in front of the hotel which was a bonus as it was raining when we needed to get to and from the station - 4 min. Staff was friendly and helpful and had our room available prior to check in, this was great as we still had to get ready for the function - although (apparently) there is a cloakroom with shower facilities should the room not be ready) Undercover parking in a lockup garage was great.

I didn't like that there was no mini fridge in the room, at least to store snacks and drinks. This was very inconvenient. Additionally, we were not informed upfront that parking would incur an additional charge. For two days, we paid €30.

I liked the location; we were next to Lake Thun and near the park, just a 2-minute walk away.

Unfortunately our room (2105) was above a frequently used door leading between bedrooms and reception - the door slammed noisily and disturbed us in the morning particularly. We asked about changing rooms, but there was nothing suitable at the time.

Lovely clean room with comfortable bed and great shower! The staff were friendly and helpful - they provided additional pillows on request :) The underground parking was convenient, but not cheap at CHF 15 per night. It's a lovely walk into Thun, along the lake or the bus is quick and free for tourists. We would love to come and stay again.
