I liked everything. Very clean, moderately quiet (depends on the number of visitors), the staff is polite and always ready to help (additionally, you can be reminded for the Basel card). Everything is arranged for the maximum convenience of residents (games, laundry, baggage room, kitchen, workplaces). 5 minutes to the railway station.

I had to rearrange the booking at late hour due to another booking reservation not coming through. At that time I was tired, and on top of it obviously stressed. The reception team was absolutely amazing and understanding, helped me with check in despite reception out of hours, very welcoming, clear communicaton on further step. Very pleasant and dependable place to stay.

The size of the cabinet inside the room is like a cubby for shoes. I just put all my valuables in a book bag and locked it up, and trusted at roommates won't take my suitcase lol.

Better than typical hostels, possible to get private room for the normal price. Check in and check out possible to do online or by yourself. Accessible toilets for handicapped people. Not far from main train station. Recommended

Lockers in room are somewhat loud, so be considerate when using while others are asleep. It was somewhat difficult to climb up to top bunk.

Really wonderful hostel located just minutes walk away from SBB train station. Lockers available for storing your luggage before or after check-in or check-out. Very easy to complete self check-in. Really clean rooms, toilets, and showers. Spacious lockers within room. Laundry room and game room located downstairs. Beds are comfy and have personal USB slots & light. Bar and lounge located on ground floor with nice laid back vibe. Overall a really great experience, great value for what you spend.

Recycle bins are not near the kicthen, but they are in a corner near the main entrance. If they were close to the kitchen, I'm sure guests would use them more. I would improve the clean-ups in the dining area. Some chips stays under a table for half a day.

The hostel and its facilities are very well described. Very very close to the Banhof. I stayed in an 6-bed dormitory,: beds are large and the mattress was comfortable. Lockers are big enough to leave all your stuff, luggage included. One real towel is provided for free. In the bathrooms you can also find real hairdriers (not a silly thing especially if you are long-haired woman). The kitchen is well equipped and clean.

I wish I had seen that there were two types of single rooms, one of which does not have its own private bathroom/shower. I booked the one that didn't. It wasn't a deal breaker, it just wasn't super clear from booking.com. Also, there was a really intense clanging noise in the morning that I found was the cleaning crew in the next rooms. I tend to sleep on the later side, but it was very jarring. If you're an early riser, I can't imagine that being an issue. Things were very quiet otherwise.

Easy to get in, to check in, and show yourself around. Nice that there was a cozy open cafe on the main level, and the terrace looked nice. I'm bummed I didn't order a pizza on site!

we didn't know that de Basel card was free, they didn't send us properly so we paid for the museum when with the Basel card you are able to have a discount.

we felt at home, very clean, the dining room was nice, big table, we will able to have breakfast together. quiet place, nice Guest, nice game room, my children enjoy.

The workers are so friendly and helpfull, i was there early and they arrange me early checkin. There is a nice restaurant at the resepsiyon, bar and restaurant both. Rooms are clean and big enough. Location spot is very good.

Great little hostel, very quiet. Lovely indoor and outdoor communal space. The rooms and showers etc are clean and comfortable. Towel is left for you on your prepared bed and there is a light by each bed and a USB connection to charge your devices!The Basel card you get when you stay in the city is amazing, the transport is so easy to use and the 50% off at the museums etc is great. The guy at the bar (sorry I don’t remember your name!) is super helpful for beer recommendations (try the Matt and Elly!) and for help around the hostel/city. The pizza at the hostel with the Swiss cheese was also great!

There were too many crying children around. Of course, it's not the hotel's fault. :) Other than that everything was admirable!

The staff is absolutely phenomenal, they greeted me with a smile and a friendly chat, they helped me with some train questions and were very patient. They made me feel really welcome and like I was meeting a friend, especially George and Alex.

I didn’t like how the chargers by the beds are only USB. Only 1 out of the 6 beds in my room had a plug next to them.

Great facilities (kitchen and living room). Love that you can open doors with your phone. Comfortable beds and great location. Clean toilet and showers. Just a headsup that the showered are not separated by sex.

By night, the front door lock is not working unless someone grant's access. Don't forget to inform and online check if you intend to arrive in the late hours.

The hostel atmosphere is male friendly, lounge seats and diner room are very luminescent and clean. The proper showers have soap dispenser's and individual door's.
