hot showers, kitchen, breakfast was good (not the best but also not bad), wifi worked well, social hostel - easy to meet people The location is good, 5 minutes walk to the next metro station. The metro is cheap and easy to use. I also felt safe in the hostels neighbourhood and really liked the park close by.

The shower takes a while to have hot water, I was instructed by the other guests about having to let the shower open till it gets hot, so much of wasted water. Also, the room didn't have a heater good and big enough to make the room warmer. They put a small one that didn't make much of a difference. The room and bathroom were really cold in the mornings and evenings.

I liked the staff, location and breakfast included. The room was female only and pretty big for a 6bed dorm with big lockers. The staff were nice as well.

Rooms had very low light. The room did not have any aircon so it is very hot. It was very noisy specially the wooden staircase. Room is dank & reeks of smell

Our room was extremely hot, as there is no fan or aircon. The windows and door to the room need to be left open to have some sort of breeze, but there’s no fly screen so mosquitos come in at night and we got bitten a lot, making it hard to sleep (and making it very bright inside the room). One of the beds was very unstable and unsafe. There was one power socket for an entire 8 bed dorm, so we couldn’t charge our phones. Bathrooms had no soap. Breakfast was pretty average, wouldn’t call it a draw card.

Hostel was in a fairly good location & was one of the more affordable hostels in Santiago.

Receptionist were very rude, they had a six bed room with 5 lockers. When I ask them for the one for me, they just didn’t care, so I have to spent a whole night taking care of my belongings as the room door didn’t got any key (like anyone could break inside at any moment), thankfully the guests were very nice, but still, I had to go through 4 different receptionist till I get a locker for me. Again, the rude thing wasn’t just the way they didn’t care, the treatment was not polite at all. Also the bed moves like a boat on storm in the middle of the ocean. No privacy, no drapes.

Fantastic hostel. All the staff there are super friendly and welcoming. Nice, comfy beds and large lockers in the rooms. Plenty of showers with hot water and big kitchens for use too. Nice activities put on each week to join. Everywhere is clean and nice. The place has a very relaxed vibe and I definitely would stay again.

The biggest issue was the temperature in my room. It was on the third floor just under the roof and it was mega hot. At least there was a fan in the room. Also there was an odor coming from the bathroom. You have to make a breakfast yourself. Sometimes there were some ingredients missing.

Location is good in a calm part of Providencia. I enjoyed pisco sour Monday with other guests.

The checked in staff was not very friendly..don't feel welcome at all... there's many comments from others guests about the bad facility,I thought it should be changed by now,but still the same,the main entrance lock was defect..but not repair for very long...look like the comfort,the safety and the satisfaction for the guests is not important to them,I will not go bk there or recommend to anyone..

Aji hostal is located in a safe road about 2 minutes walk from Salvador metro station. Staff were friendly and the room was clean, the bed comfy. I've stayed here before and would stay again.

There was no heating and the water in the shower was lukewarm at best. I wouldn't stay here when the weather is cold.

The building was very nice and the location was great. Breakfast was good too.
