Only thing do not have road access to the hotel front door, need to walk about 3 min, but staffs are helpful to move luggage for us. Not much storage space or hangers

Fab hotel in a great part of Valparaiso. Excellent breakfast on the roof top. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good with a fabulous view of the town and sea.

The Claudia, Giovanni, Francisca and the entire staff in the hotel and the restaurant were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was healthy and delicious.

A wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Such an interesting and comfortable place with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a great terrace to eat/drink/relax. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

We booked a suite and that totally wasn’t worth it: it was tiny and hence not as comfortable as we wanted it to be- should have just booked a regular room and saved our cash. There’s essentially only one true suite (see pics on website here) that would be worth it but that’s a lottery. Some staff were a bit disinterested and (buffet) breakfast was so so.

Everything! The hotel was an ingenious combination of traditional and contemporary. Spotless! The food was super. People queuing up outside the restaurant! The staff were charming and poor not do enough for us!

WiFi the weakest link at the Fauna.

Brilliant location in the Conception District. Easy access via the Victoria lift to access by the port. Lots of good restaurants near by - although the Fauna's own Resturant was good. Lovely views of Valparaiso from the terrace. Plenty of other gardens to sit in too. Enjoyed a very nice cake as we'd stayed 3 nights with them - nice touch.

Wifi not working all time.You can’t get to the door with a taxi, it’s a pedestrian street- therefore understandable.

An excellent choice, perfectly located in the heart of Valparaíso. While many hotels label themselves as “boutique,” few truly deliver on that promise—Hotel Fauna absolutely does. The relaxed vibe, comfortable beds, and stunning views make it stand out. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Valparaíso in style and comfort.

Only slight issue is the water in the shower was a bit variable in terms of temperature.

The location was perfect with a view over the harbour at Valparaiso. The food was very good, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there over the course of two days and the menu was varied and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff on reception very helpful. Would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay here. What a perfect location and the view from the room was incredible! The bed was super comfortable too. The breakfast also deserves a special mention - wide selection, good service and nothing beats eating it on the terrace overlooking Valparaíso! We would 100% recommend staying here for anyone coming to Valparaíso.

You can’t access the hotel with a taxi, that is the only negative we can think of really, other than the WiFi was a bit weak in the rooms.

The location was great. The room overlooking the bay was wonderful. The room was divided into two parts with sleeping and sitting room, which was very nice. The breakfast room was gorgeous on the terrace. The staff was super friendly and nice.

It was generally clean but in the corners a lot of dust accumulated, also our room had a very squicky bed, it was suoer noisy with every turn.
