Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeOur toilet didn’t work very well so thankfully we were in a two bedroom and had a second facility to use.
Great stay at Base. The location was convenient with lots of cafes and restaurants and a small shop nearby for basic dry groceries. Free coffee at the shared basement kitchen is great! There’s also daily cleaning of the apartment which is a big plus.

United KingdomNothing. I don't like some times other guests are very rude and not treating the staff there with enough respect. So please be kind to them, they are great people
This is my number million times of staying here, there is nothing here that I don't like. It feels like a second home here for me in Beijing, I used to be living in the area and now on biz trip back, I have always been staying here and so my family and friends can see me easily. Keep up the great work!

MalaysiaThe apartment had a well-functioning hob and hood - but no cooking equipment. Wok, rice cooker, spatula all had to be "rented" at a daily rate from the common kitchen space they had downstairs. This is not what we imagined when we emailed ahead to ask of the units had cooking equipment. The items we rented/borrowed were really good quality, but it was impossible to make do with only one mediumish frying pan, therefore we went out to WuMart and got a wok to use that we left behind eventually. It would also help if the front desk staff could speak better English.
This place is central, but located in an alley fronting a hutong. There were many cars parked along the way, therefore it's not bus-accessible. Our tour bus had to park on the bustling main road and we had to walk a couple hundred meters every time. However, regular vehicles can pick you up and drop you off right in front with no problems. The neighbourhood is safe. There is a tiny minimart a few steps away from the property. If you are looking to self-cater, there is a proper market located nearby (less than 10 minutes' walk) with great fresh produce, fish, halal meat, and yummy breakfast pastries. For other needs, the main road has tons of food options, 3-4 halal restaurants within walking distance, and also a huge WuMart if you're willing to walk for 15-20 mins. The unit has a big fridge and a modern hob and hood. We had 4 apartments between us, and all were spotless and quiet, with daily housekeeping. Some configurations were smallish - try to get a corner unit if you can. The bathrooms were excellent - spacious, heated, and equipped with fluffy clean towels. One of the toilets even had a high-tech electronic bidet. The staff were a mixed bag. Housekeepers and doormen were lovely always; they are on the elderly side, and if the hotel makes it a point to hire older people for this, we commend them. The doormen especially were always kind and attentive to our rambunctious children. The front desk staff were cold upon arrival, but this can be chalked up to our fatigue and the language barrier. Beijingers can seem a little cool in the beginning. However, they came through when we needed help - one of them even helped us to pay to use the luggage postal service when our Alipay refused to work with the QR provided by the transport company.

MalaysiaCons: 1) Quite a narrow alley. For skilled drivers, they are able to drive in the alley with no problem but some choose to drop us off at the end of the street and hotel is located in the middle of the street. 2) Quite a walk to nearest Metro station - National Art Museum. ~ 10 mins for average pace of 30 year olds. 3) No bidet equipped in the toilet.
Pros: 1) Very big and spacious room (1 bedroom and 1 living room). Plenty of room to open 2 large suitcases. 2) Easy to find halal / muslim restaurants. 3) Located directly in front of a hip trendy area. Has%Arabica and other coffee shops. Some coffee shops and restaurants at the ground floor. 4) Staff able to converse and communicate in English. 5) Bonus point is each room has washer dryer and they also provide laundry detergent. 10/10!
