The residence is in an excellent location, in front of Hu tong settlement and subway station. The residence is close to Dongsi street which is plenty of very good restaurants and nice shops. Very kind staff. Excellent cleaning. The reception is opne 24/24. I recommend this residence for a stay in Beijing

We stayed at Base-Beijing Wangfujing, and the experience was great. The hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the metro and nestled in a charming hutong, which gave us a taste of authentic Beijing. Everything at the hotel is new and modern, and our room was impressively spacious and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The staff at reception were fantastic—always friendly and willing to help. Be sure to ask them for restaurant recommendations; they gave us some excellent tips that made our dining experiences in Beijing even better. Overall, it’s a convenient, clean, and modern hotel in a prime location, perfect for anyone wanting to explore the heart of Beijing with ease.

Missing broom, dish towel and very thin doors (we heard everything from hallway).

Everyday new towells, new trash bags, washed dishes. Locality was very good near everything. Kitchen and small fitness centre for everybody. Air condition on room so you dont need to open window.

We stayed here November last year and chose to stay in this hotel again this year as everything was perfect last time. It was the same this year!! It feels like home with an interesting spatial character. The laundry and pantry in the room are also very useful. The staff was very friendly as always, Jay and Yvonne were especially helpful along with the other staff. Have to mention the cleaning lady who does an exceptional job every day, making it a pleasure to return to the room, after site seeing. The location is very convenient and was among the historical Hutongs and alleyways of Qianliang. As an architect therefore the location was really interesting. It is also close to all the important city destinations, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bus halts and the National Art museum subway station.

Kitchen not set up for cooking - more for reheating/eating brought in food. There is though a shared kitchen in the basement which is more set up for this. Extra bed only really suitable for a smaller child not a teenager.

Good location - walking distance from the Forbidden City sights. Lots of restaurants and food options nearby. Comfortable apartment with nice decor.

It was further from the centre of town than we expected, we ended up taking taxis everywhere. Taxis are cheap in this part of the world and easily organised through the Alipay and DiDi apps Sonia wasn’t a big problem.

We have been travelling for a few weeks now and this apartment has the best shower of all places we have been to date. We were only here for 1 night, but if we hadn’t had been we would have loved the fact the hotel had a washing machine. The kitchen is handy too, although we would have liked to see more utensils, cups etc.

The structure is located in a hutong not far from Beijing city centre. The rooms are modern and well furnished, very comfortable; the staff is kind and willing to support and give advices.

A bit of a walk from the Main Street and the nearest subway stations, but manageable.

Rooms are a great size. Nice to return to a decent size room with a sitting area at the end of a long day of sightseeing.

Everything was just perfect. Very clean & The staff in this hotel are super friendly and helpful. We stayed for one week, we feel all details were thought of for the guests here. The robot was especially cute and our kids loved watching it everytime when it does delivery room service.

Hair on the bathroom floor (it wasn't ours). That the balcony was not able to open, it was locked and not useable, it felt like a tease. If worried about safety/behaviour perhaps install a camera on the balcony maybe with signage? That you had to 'rent' utensils, pots and pans etc this surprised us lol

Lovely helpful friendly staff who gave us an upgrade and allowed us to check in early. Friendly doorman. Super sized room and great location, great comfort and shower size etc overall a really nice hotel. Additionally a superb bar/barbers/cafe below/next door with friendly staff and nice spot to chill and hang out. Cute AI robot room delivery waiter.

The floors could use a deep clean, same with the shower. The lighting was very dim and a fee of them didn't work.

Very hard to fault Base Wangfujing.

Excellent location in the heart of Beijing. Charming local hutong location near to many major attractions. Close to two Metro stations, and convenient bus lines at the end of the hutong. Some very good restaurants and cafe’s at the base of the building complex with more excellent restaurants close by. Staff were all excellent, cheerful and helpful. We stayed here for 21 nights. Room was very comfortable and large and the washing machine and provided optional drying racks were very handy for a long stay. A bustling fresh food market at the west end of the hutong sold fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, local snacks, fresh bread, buns, dumplings and more. Will be happy to return any time.

Two small things, you need to hire kitchen equipment and there was no washing up liquid or drying towel for plates and cutlery. The second thing is the washing machine. They need a translation of ALL the buttons(programmes) so it can be used easily.

Beautiful studio, in good condition and very comfortable, lots of storage space. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful, cleaned every day.

As mentioned above - could help the staff to be ready for the questions that any tourist is bound to ask.

Lovely staff very keen to support and go above and beyond. The hotel management could help the staff with preparation on recommending eateries, seeing the sites etc. I found the receptionists very willing to help but not trained enough to support on the basic questions any tourist would have.
