Being told there is a swimming pool, which there is and it "looks" very nice. I was unable to use this swimming pool as i had to leave for the airport at 10am which i did tell reception on checking in the night before. The problem with the pool is it opens at 10am, the only way to find this out is to turn up with your towel to be turned away. No iron in the room is a problem for me when travelling.

I liked the hotel layout and modern furnishings. The staff are very friendly.

At first we were offered rooms overlooking the inner yard, with no light, air or view. That was quite a strange offer given the fact we booked 2 rooms for 6 nights. I understand this maybe the room for you if you stay overnight and don’t care where to sleep. Was obviously not our case. At 3rd attempt we finally got really nice rooms, but we would prefer that the hotel be more proactive and not offer to stay 7 days overlooking a wall :) And English instructions to the washing machine will also help!

Super modern and clean, excellent service! The pool is beautiful and the service in the pool is just a gift! We also forgot our stuff in the room and picked it up a week later! All sealed waiting for us! Amazing!

This is a modern hotel located in a quiet area, only 15-20 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The rooms were clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in China. It was mainly Chinese buffet with western options as well. The hotel has a pool and gym but we didn’t have time to use it.

Great location, 15mins walk from a subway station, restaurants & shops are nearby. It's close to important sightseeing sites (less than half an hour with public transport). The room is spacious, the bed solution is super interesting, comfortable and cozy. You get a quite nice view from higher floors. The room is squaky clean. All amenities are brand new. Food in the hotel restaurant downstairs is very good. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. If in Beijing, we will definitely book again.

The only thing we missed was a full body mirror. But that is such a small inconvenience that it is barely worth mentioning.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Even if they did not speak any English, they were still trying to accommodate us the best they could. The rooms have a very smart layout and “youthful” look to them. The breakfast was mostly chinese dishes but there was also a decent amount of western food to be found. Truly feels like a five star Hotel but the price is much more reasonable!

What a great hotel and a lucky find! First time I am leaving 10/10 for a hotel. The location is just between the main square/forbidden city and the financial district, 12 minutes walking on a large boulevard to Jianguomen station, and well connected to every area, including the airport. On the hotel street, there are many restaurants, shops and services. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, with an emphasis on cleanliness. The rooms are functionally designed and the kitchenette is a bonus for travellers like me who could not stomach foreign food for days on end. Reception is happy to give any utensils needed, as well as anything else I requested. I loved the ladder-style bedroom, where you sleep comfortably but don't sacrifice space, the ladder retracts and there is ample living and storage space. There is free laundry on-site with detergent and dryers included. The breakfast is large and versatile, not too 'western' but definitely there is something for anyone and everyone, with new items every day and with everything kept fresh. From eggs many ways, to salads, noodles, vegetables stir frys, dumplings, steamed root veggies, sausage and bacon, noodle soup.. The gym is better equipped than many European gyms with a great view. The pool is not as good as shown in the photos, it is small and only one person at a time can use it for swimming with a lifeguard constantly overlooking it. The large living room area is very cosy for spending time in, around the bookshelves and aquarium and piano music. All hotel staff is super friendly and helpful for any question or request. With the limited information available online for many places in China, I was very happy to have booked this hotel and highly recommend it.

Little bit far from metro station (0.9km)

It was a good location. But kind of far from stations about 0.9m walk. Pool was very nice with spectacular view. Room was cozy staff were very friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Great value for money and good location. Close to metro stations, close to the city centre. There is a starbucks on-site and also some cafes near by. Some staff memebrs speak English, so could help you with taxi and etc. There is a bar and restaurant on site. The food was good. The room was spacious, good modern design. Everything you need for comfort stay.

Really great the gym is really good and the sky pool is great. The rooms are very functional and its really handy having a washing machine. Its really clever how you can fold the stairs away and increase the size of the room.

The only minus I can really point towards was the inability to accept neither my foreign Mastercard nor my Visa, which made initial check-in a bit problematic on arrival. However there are several ATMs nearby, so it's a really minor issue

Hotel location is great, and as muslim travelers, the close proximity to several halal (清真) options is super convenient! Staff had limited english capabilities (which is common in Beijing) but were extremely helpful regardless and were happy to help to the best of their abilities - lovely staff! Also, the self-service laundry option was very nice
