Better English better customer service

It wasn’t that clean - and I would recommend that they actually enforce the no smoking thing. The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes, and sometimes even it got into my room. Other than that, the facilities were okay but nothing very nice. I think it’s just pricey to stay in Beijing, and not really get that much. You should also like a very very hard bed, because that’s what you get.

The WiFi works - although I read the opposite from others. You just need a VPN as elsewhere in China. The staff was nice and the location was super close to all the tourist stuff.

The breakfast is not good. It was very noisy as we had a room facing the street. Some foreign guests were also very loud in the hotel.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the Forbidden City. There is also a metro station nearby. There are small stores and bars around the hotel where you can shop and eat wonderfully. The rooms are old, but good.

Pillows were not comfortable; room smelled like cigarette smoke. Room decor was worn and outdated... really could use a renovation.

No WiFi connection at all. This property really offers no WiFi at all which is a basic need of a tourist these days. They do not seem to have a way around it. If you have your own SIM card with a working Mobile data connection, this is the best place to stay. If not, please do not bother

Everything about the property itself is good. Close to major attractions in the city. Rooms are clean. A good reception area.

The location is okay but you have to walk for the metro for 15 mins. Also the bed was really hard.

Even though I have seen some reviews that say the reception doesn’t speak English, I had no problem with it since they can speak pretty good English. Also the room was pretty clean, quite and spacious. Also staff was very helpful.

Found property reception area, corridor and lift area are not as clean I expected. But room is fantastic clean. WiFi never works with very poor strength. Some receptionist are very friendly and some are need bit more training on being friendly with customers services. However, It will be unfair for to compare with customer service in Australia. There was a washing machine in the room but I couldn't use it. As per receptionist, it is not for use. Not sure why it was available there if I could not use it. It will be difficult for long stay guests if there is no laundry facilities. None of reception during the day unable to communicate in English. Night reception was fantastic in communication with me in English. Overall, not bad experience except mentioned above

Staff disorganized and said that they’d talk to their manager about what could be done given my situation and poor experience. They never followed up. I won’t stay here again. I’ve traveled to 41 countries and this was the worst staff experience I’ve had.

Really disorganized staff - I arrived after midnight and had already informed the hotel I would and they’d confirmed. I rang the buzzer since no one was at the front gate and ended up ringing it 5 times over a 15 minute period until someone woke up and asked me why I didn’t ring the buzzer. Then they couldn’t find my booking. It was 1:20am (30 minutes almost since I got there) that I finally got the key to my room.

I liked it a lot Very nice rooms The location is amazing , because it very near to forbidden city and other famous places … which you can even reach easy by walking or with renting a bike . Biking is so easy in Beijing Good food shops around and nice very good local restaurant to eat I also love it because it’s located in are local Hutong area I als o booked because they have a very nice Terrasse with view to Jinghan Garden but it was closed , also the weather was very beautiful and warm … so I ask and it will only be open in summer - just that you know it ！ I will come back to this Hotel

Very bare bones. Beside shower gel and shampoo dispensers, no soap, no tooth brush or anything else (besides bottles of water) were provided. Beds were hard, matresses thing. Door card stopped working just before checkout.

The mattresses were extremely hard. I could not sleep at all. I like hard mattresses but these felt like a wooden base. I asked to have a change of rooms, but the result was the same. I ended up putting 4 covers on top of the bed to cushion it a bit. I have travelled a lot, and I had never experienced something like this. I would not recommend this hotel.
