SingaporeI prefer the bed and pillow to be a little harder which was much better when we returned for the last lap of our travel.
1. Concierge desk Young Yang gave good recommendation for food choices and places to visit. He is always helpful, friendly and speaks with us whenever he sees us leaving or returning to the hotel, making us feel very much at home. 2. We stayed at the same hotel 3 times within our travel period 24 Oct to 8 Nov 2024 and stayed there for a total of 7 nights. Hotel upgraded our room when we returned to our "home" on the last lap.

AustraliaThe day I left I wanted to have a sandwich or something light before leaving for the airport but sadly when I went to the cafe soon after 2 it had ceased serving. This is no way detracted from my enjoyment of my 9 night stay.
The hotel is divine, a beautiful, gracious older hotel with fantastic customer service which responded to my every question at every stage - in advance of my stay, during and after it. My room was very spacious, the generous curtains made it dark when required, and the solid nature of the building meant it was very quiet. Every guest need had been anticipated and catered for in the fixtures and fittings in my room; when the lady who serviced my room realised I consumed lots of water she left me 4 bottles daily rather than the 2 I had been told I would receive. The temperature in the room was slightly higher than I would have liked and did not seem to respond to the air con pad, but as I was able to open a window and allow cool air in it was perfect after a few hours. I could not fault the hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit.

Francefew points could be improved. - The staff at the reception does not speak good English, it is very difficult to cumminicate and often we needed to pass through the automatic translator - The bar closes at 10PM sharp, very early if one wants to get a beer in the hotell hall.... - in the room we were 4 people and there are not enough coat hanger both in the room and in the toilet for towels. Also we were in 4 people but we had always 2 towels, even if we were asking every morning, Asking was not easy because the English problem...
The location was very good, foot distance from forbidden city and close to metro station. Breakfast was very good (even if expensive!) the hotel looks amazing! Everything was very clean

The facilities are great albeit I have to say the hotel is a bit dated. You can tell it’s still an excellent hotel but keep in mind the hotel is not a new build and maintenance could be a bit better, not a deal breaker though. We loved it.

A really gorgeous hotel with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, in a hotel. The rooms are spacious and the swimming pool and onsen are beautiful, calm spaces. perfect for winding down from a day of sightseeing. The location is great, just a 10 minute taxi ride away from the forbidden city. The lobby area is so beautiful there were often people there taking pictures of themselves posing, so there are probably thousands of Instagram pictures of it.

United KingdomI have stayed here several times since it first opened and will do so again as a first choice in Beijing for value for money and service but as with any hotel that has been open for many years there are areas starting to look a little tired.
This is a very stylish hotel in the very heart of Beijing which I have stayed in several times. The facilities and staff are excellent with the whole hotel oozing opulence. It's impossible not to take photos!
