Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesMore meat options in the breakfast buffet
The location was very ideal. It is close to commercial areas where food and shopping is readily accessible, walking distance from the subway and Festival Walk. The breakfast options were plentiful, with a number of western options too. It is also very convenient to have free laundry service in the property. We are particularly happy with the front desk staff, Fangfang, who volunteered to book our taxi to the airport. She also assisted us when we needed help getting local currency. Good coffee at breakfast too.

United StatesI didn't get a room with window, and I don't think you need to get once since the hotel only has 4 floors and there are nothing to see outside other than some old apartment buildings. No mini-fridge or microwave. Some really minor but weird design choices, like how the bathroom is connected. Not really a big deal.
A very decent hotel choice. Nice location. Didn't try the breakfast here since there are really good restaurant nearby. Room is decently large and clean. They also have a university-dorm-style laundry room on the 3rd floor, even the detergents are free.

United KingdomNo fridge in the room.
Very close to centre, Tiyu Xilu metro is less than 5 minutes walk, you can be in the centre of Guangzhou within 15 minutes easily. Also many places to eat and buy food on the same street. Breakfast was good value at 25 RMB. TV movie selection was good and the TV system was easy to use.

ChinaIf you go by a car it's not so clear where I should park it. The entrance to parking is somewhere in the community. If you don't know Chinese it will be a little bit difficult to communicate with the staff.
I really like the location of the hotel. To subway station is around 2-3 mins, straight line to the airport. The room is clean and it's enough for 2 people. The staff is ready to help and very friendly.

AustraliaThe rooms were small, not that clean (I found rubbish in the floor when I checked into the room still which made me concerned about the cleaning process). The property was also a bit old and dated. I think you can find much better value properties in Guangzhou for a similar price
It was in a good location, around the corner from the station

FranceEverything was fine until checkout, when the receptionist asked if I wanted to book a shuttle to the airport. She charged me 200 yuan, which seemed a bit expensive, but since I had a lot of luggage and was traveling alone, I thought it would be safer to take a hotel shuttle. When it was time to leave, I realized it was just a regular car, and the receptionist—now out of uniform (I assume her shift had ended)—personally walked me to the car and helped load my luggage. Once inside, both the driver and I realized that she had booked the ride through her personal Didi account. So I assume, she paid less for it. In the end, I paid an overpriced 200 yuan for the ride, and the Didi driver even asked me to cover an additional 10 yuan for the toll fee, which she had refused to pay through her app. Do not book an airport ride through the reception. If you do it yourself, it costs around 77 yuan.

MalaysiaNoisy, the hotel is not sound proofing, i can hear next door clearly. The building is quite old, not very clean. The place putting cleaned towel is dirty, and make the towel turned dirty. The housekeeping lady clean the rubbish bins first, then directly take the new towel to me without washing hands...oh my god... hygiene level of the hotel is below baseline.
Full with restaurants, some open until midnight 2am. Also has a few shopping malls in walking distance.

NorwaySpending the night in a room without windows is not safe in case of emergency. The shower drainer was clogged when I just checked in. The bed was good and clean.
The location is great, very close to downtown, many restaurants near by and it is close to Tianhe city shopping mall and to the metro station.

SingaporeThe wooden doors to the cabinet were broken, and cannot be closed completely, the door hinges gave out an irritating creaking sound, both doors 'banged' each other when we closed them, mainly due to the misalignment. The hotel provided an ashtray in the room even though it is a non-smoking floor. The corridor had a strong stench of cigarette smell. The noise of passing vehicles can be annoying, the road in front of the hotel is not too wide.
Hotel staff, both front desk and housekeeping, are very friendly and helpful. The subway is a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel, making it convenient to travel around with train. There are a few eating oulets nearby and a mini super market along the same stretch of road.

GermanyI had an indoor room and it was very noisy from next door and below. Also the lighting is just insuficcient and the cigarette-smoke from the floor below regularly comes up.
First off, the location is just great. You're practically sitting on top of the metro station (line 1&3 + APM close by), right int the heart of the CBD. Many shopping malls and restaurants close by, Huacheng sq. Mall of the World, Canton tower, Guandong Museum, Opera house etc. are all walkable!

United StatesThe property smelled heavily of smoke even in non smoking areas and the room smelled heavily or urine… The price of the hotel was more expensive than others in the area by almost 20-30% so I couldn’t fully recommend for this reason.
The bathroom is very modern and the rooms are nice. The location was very convenient.

SingaporeSpecifically message hotel a day before checking in and also on the day itself check in That i would like very much a quiet room. Yet , i was offered a room though with windows which is not my criteria , Room 9505 (not sure if I remember correctly )which is located just along the stretch of busy road with businesses. Aka above the hotel entrance rooms. We were disturbed by people or drunken on the streets still yelling in the middle of the night , piercing sirens sound from vehicle . We could not sleep at all despite needing to check out at 7 am to catch a morning flight. I do not understand how would staff not have the knowledge that rooms facing the road in front of hotel entrance is noisy based on their working experience.
Kind to help with luggage storage
