Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaOur stay exceeded expectations. The Family Premier room had a small living room with a sofa bed, large desk and the bedroom was of decent size. The small kitchen was good for heating up or fixing meals. The apartment was really clean and had a nice city view. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. There were fruits, salads, cold items, hot items - both local and continental, as well as live counter for eggs and noodle soup etc. The items changed every day which kept it even more interesting. Nanjing road was 2 mins away, People square station and park around 5 min walk. Bund was around 20 mins by foot. Hotel is in a quieter location, but near most everything. It's much nicer than the pictures i'm sharing.

Great breakfast, both western and local. Location is near metro, about 6-8 min walk. Near to alot of eateries. Bedroom was good for family of 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 6 and 9. Overall, great stay. Hotel even helped to arranged transport for us to Disneyland upon request, though they charged slightly higher.

United KingdomNo washing up liquid, no cooking basics such as oil, salt, pepper. It didn't matter because it was so cheap to eat out. Some noise from the room above & the road but ear plugs helped us get a good night's sleep. They wanted to provide new towels everyday & bottled water but claimed to be eco- friendly.
Comfortable beds, efficient staff, great breakfast, free coffee machine, okay fitness room.

United StatesNothing really. However, if the hotel could come up with more efficient ways/policies to stop some customers from smoking in their rooms (from now and then, we sometimes sensed cigarettes smell coming out of the ventilation system from the bathroom), that would make our stay even more pleasant. Also, if the bed can be somewhat wider (or if there is an option where the size of the bed can be selected from the hotel site), that would be more awesome.
We've been staying here for almost every time we were back to visit family and friends for at least three years. First of all, we really LOVE the location of this hotel (it is right in the Renmin Square, which is in the middle of everything) - walk-able distance to Nanjing pedestrian road, all the shopping malls, and subway 1/2/8 lines which pretty much can take wherever you'd like to go. Of course, we also LOVE the staff there - every staff working at the hotel (from the front desk, to the security uncles, nice people working at the restaurant, to the extremely friendly housekeeping sisters/aunties), are always attentive and ready to help whenever needed. This really made us feel that we are "at home". It was also a very memorable experience this year, during our most recent stay, because we celebrate the Spring Festival in Shanghai, while staying in this hotel. Definitely will come back again the next time we visit Shanghai. Highly recommended!

This is a large hotel, located a 5-minute walk from Nanjing Road, a 15-minute walk from The Bund, and a 6-minute walk from the nearest metro station, People's Square, which offers access to three lines (1, 2, and 8). Metro line 2 provides direct access to both of Shanghai's airports. It is very convenient for visiting Zhujiajiao and other locations in Shanghai. A 3-minute walk will take you to a restaurant area near the hotel, where you can find good food at reasonable prices. The hotel is very clean, the staff are helpful, and the rooms are well-equipped. I strongly recommend this hotel to other travelers

SingaporeThe pricing wasnt too bad from international standard, and since we are foreigners in China, we appreciated peace of mind from booking with booking.com. However, once we arrived in China and got to know how things worked, we switched hotels with much bigger room for roughly the same price, but would have only been able to find once on the ground in China.
Stayed for 1 week and was good room with (small) kitchen which was important to us for preparing simple meals. Very close to people park and the Metro which was great and ideal for initially settling in for a trip to Shanghai. Close walk to popular Nanjing Road.

MalaysiaThe wifi is very poor and we had to use our own personal mobile data. Otherwise we would have rated them a perfect 10/10. No English TV channels.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The room has a kitchenette with induction stove, microwave oven, pot and pan and dinner ware, and a washer/dryer which came in very useful. There is a safe in the room. The location is Perfect. We walked and took public transport to all the major sights in the city. Lots of restaurants and shoppint malls around the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
