The hotel is located near the West Lake where it is easy accessible to the busy areas and night life. The breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options. The staff were polite and professional. Well recommended.

United KingdomThe view from the window isn't much to gaze at (it's just the fairly boring city really) The exterior of the hotel was undergoing a big refurb when I visited - it looked like a building site from the outside. That said I didn't hear any construction noise in my room.
Reasonably good location. You are short walk toWest Lake, and the walk to the main area has lots of nice tourist shops and coffee shops along the route. There are amusing cleaning robots in the lobby. The staff are helpful and patient.

United KingdomI have been visiting this hotel for years, but much of the hotel as not changed, and improved in a long time. Some of the rooms are quite dated now, and haven't been modernised. The swimming pool and gym were closed, these were a key selling point of this hotel.
This hotel is at the heart of some busy restaurants, and old shopping streets, that maintain their charm. It is also relatively easy to access from the highway.

United StatesIt was too hot, our first hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and then we were moved to another. The next one it was so hot, we were told that the A.C could not go below 23* mind you it is summer and super hot. They said it was again regulations. We got our money back and stayed somewhere else where the regulations didn’t matter and it was 19/20 degrees. The pool… oh man! It looks like it was out of a horror film in 1970’s, I did not let my kids in there and neither did anyone else. I think this was one of the worst places I have stayed.

GermanyThe rooms smell like the dust of the last 50 years is still in there. The gym was closed without any information in advance, no hair dryer, really old fashion interior, none of the staff speaks English well enough to communicate.
