Bedroom was great but the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever tried. Really good. Breakfast is excellent

The view was awful. My room overlooked an older part of Shekou. I was supposed to get a mountain view. It’s my fault. I should have complained.

The room was great. Very clean I think. The bed was very comfortable. All the facilities I required were available.

Air in the first room was a little musty (must not have been lived in for a while) but I was given another room quickly which was very good

Hallways and room were too dark. Not enough lighting. Non smoking room but there was a often a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Perhaps I should have specified i want a non smoking floor.

Right in front of a metro sration. Lots of small shops, restaurants, large grocery store, and, other hotels in the area so lots of people around to feel safe. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of selection. Asian and Western buffet. A great way to start tge day. Good value for the room rate.

Had a lot of difficulty finding the hotel, had messaged the hotel directly and they couldn't help. As a result, I ended up being dropped off miles away. The hotel doesn't show up on Didi which makes it hard to find. If you search for Shenzhen sea world junlan bailu hotel. This will take you outside the door of the hotel.

It's a stunning hotel with lots of really interesting design features. The location to Sea world and other parts were very accessible and within walking distance. Breakfast was ok, they tried to cater for everyone.

It was further away from SeaWorld than expected (15min walk). Also, it was a bit difficult to find the hotel because Apple Maps didn’t have the hotel listed. Copying and pasting the hotel address from booking.com didn’t work either. We realised later that it’s listed under Hotel Grade in Apple Maps and not Grade Hotel. Hope this helps someone!

New hotel, lovely foyer, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Price is exceptional for the quality.

Hot water. In the evening it was ok but during the day time it’s too hot and it’s impossible to make it colder. Maybe it’s because of the hot temperature outside but usually hotels have difficulties with the hot water, here the cold water os problem haha

The walls too thin. I could hear the noisy neighbors until late at night. The shower water was either very hot or very cold, I could not make it warm. The breakfast was a mess, not enough seats, too loud and the food trays were empty at 9.30 am. Guest were asking for refill but service was too slow. The food was only Chinese style with a small corner of cereal and fake bacon.

They ask for a security deposit that is equal to the amount it costs for a 1 night stay and left me with no money to purchase any food as no restaurant nearby takes Amex or Mastercard or even Visa. It was 7pm when we arrived and there was no money exchange office nearby that was open either. They can barely speak English and have very very poor communication skills, at best. They have no consideration for your dilemma and act like robots.

The room was ok but it certainly was not the size they proclaimed on their site. I even questioned them on this and got a robot like response. The internet didn't work and even though we changed rooms, the internet did not work. I had to purchase international roaming to get any internet so it ended up costing me an additional $50.
