Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaEverything was great in this hotel. I didn't see anything negative there.
The staff were kind, clean and very good guides. Also, the breakfast was very elaborate and delicious. The hotel is located in the city center. Almost everything is close to the hotel.

NetherlandsRan out of sugar at the tea/ coffee nook in the room. Everything else was fine.
Great location, 7 min walk to the Dongdan metro station (line 1 and 5). Hotel is reached from the airport in about 1 hour with one transfer. 12 min walk to Orient Plaza mall and 22 min walk to the big Wangfujing shopping area. All major attractions are easilily reachable by metro. Big room. It is clean and super quiet. Good bed, good shower and good aircon. Did not try the wifi or tv. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with two free bottles of water each day. It is a big hotel with luxurious feeling lobby. Lots of business people. Couple of shops in the hotel with clothing and souvenirs. Fairly large breakfast buffet with warm meals 9 (fried rice, mie) but also 'continental breakfast' with bread, croissants, bacon and egg, orange juice, tea and coffee, fruit. I got there at 12:00, checkin is at 14:00 but they got me a room right away. English speaking staff at the reception and in the restaurant.

MalaysiaThe smell of smoke and I believe some people might have smoked in the rooms of the floor as the smell lingers.
Location was central and close to malls & attractions and metro. The metro has many entrance so it was a bit confusing, but you will arrive at the same station. Hotel has a Mongolian theme and have cultural performances everyday (but I keep on missing the timing).

RussiaA large hotel named after one of China's provinces - Inner Mongolia. The connection with this region is present not only in the name, but also in the design of the hotel, the breakfast menu, the restaurant of national cuisine on the hotel grounds, in the evening a national music ensemble of the province plays for guests in the lobby. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything necessary, the rooms are clean, cleaning is done every day. The interior is simple but neat. Very comfortable beds, you can have a good rest. Breakfast is in the "buffet" format, the menu is varied, you can try traditional Chinese dishes, dishes of Inner Mongolia cuisine, there are dishes familiar to Europeans. Very convenient location. From the hotel you can quickly get to many attractions of the center of Beijing, both its historical part - the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Qianmen walking area, and the new business district with skyscrapers and large shopping centers. The famous shopping street Wangfujing is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. There is a metro station next to the hotel. I would like to note the hotel management. When a problematic situation arose during our stay and it was impossible to resolve it at the level of ordinary employees working with guests due to the complexity of the situation, at our request the hotel's customer service manager (who is also responsible for working with Booking.com clients) got involved, professionally sorted out the situation, agreed on a solution with management and helped find a constructive solution.

SingaporeOne of the Front Desk staff. She sounded impatient and was sarcastic in her reply even when I enquired on something nicely. Another F&B staff at the hotpot restaurant (hotel level 2) sounded grumpy and unfriendly when we entered at about 8.00pm one of the days. We were initially told that the restaurant was closed at 9.00pm so we thought there was enough time (up to 1 hr) for us to dine before they were closed for the day. Door of female restroom at level 1 was kind of translucent and person in the restroom cubicle could be seen from outside.
The good variety and quality for breakfast buffet, the cleanliness of the hotel, wonderful location for most attractions and its friendly and attentive concierge, F&B and housekeeping teams.

United KingdomThe air-con would not cool the room, although that seems to be normal in Chinese hotels at this time of year. We had communications issues with room serivce, we ordered two meals but a toilet roll was delivered instead! Maybe we should have made more effort to learn Chinese!
A large, spotless, comfy room with everything working and with a great view over the city. The hotel is in a fantastic location for sightseeing, with easy access to the Subway and is within walking distance of the Palace Museum and other attractions.
