The room we stayed in had a bad view. In addition, the curtain can only be opened and closed completely, and cannot be opened or closed halfway. There are a few lights in the room that won't turn on. There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom/washroom. The hotel is good, improve the small faults, it will be better.

Good location, good attitude of the service staff, small but well equipped room and the room temperature is well controlled. Breakfast was good , just a little less varied.

Slightly far from the city centre (30mins walk) - but I liked the walk.

Amazing stay, offered us a free upgrade and staffs were so kind and willing to help us out. Left a lipstick in the hotel without knowing and they called multiple times to deliver it to my next hotel within a day! Clean rooms, very spacious and very comfortable!

Helpful staff, nice walkable location to many places, beautiful corner room with expansive windows and very comfortable bed, tasty breakfast with many options. And very interestingly, if a guest orders takeout food, the delivery person places the order in a tie-wearing robot in the lobby, which rolls its way to the elevator, rides it up to the proper floor, and somehow finds the room to deliver it to. Cool!

We had a very good stay here, upon arrival we got a room upgrade, which was a nice gesture! Our corner room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was great, very diverse. We liked the congee and noodle a lot. Have to give credit to Sarah from the front desk, she was extremely helpful with everything. We will definitely come back here.

Excellent location , but away from the hustle bustle of the city. Staff are exceptional.They are friendly,helpful and would go out of the way to help their guest.A special thank you to two staff members,, Zoey and Ivy. Zoey helped us to liaise with our tour guide as we had no means to make local phone calls.She was always cheerful and happily offered her help. Ivy ,a very kind and caring young lady ,accompanied us to the local hospital when we had a medical emergency..She did this on her own time.She helped us to translate and navigate through the procedures in a Chinese hospital.It would have been difficult without her help.We are forever grateful to Ivy.

Our room was a bit smelly, almost as if a previous guest had smoked — despite the strikt non-smoking policy. It wasn’t that bad so we didn’t address the issue.

Exceptional property within the compound of a former rubber factory. Restaurants, coffee shops, and bars located nearby. We found the location of the hotel to be great for discovering Kunming.

Location was prefect, in a residential area, number of coffee shops, bars & restaurants, if looking for local delicacies just few hundred meters away. Room was spacious, continental & local breakfast have more than expected varieties, very helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Recommend mgmt. to consider to upgrade the bathroom, although it is clean, but yellow (wall &floor)/ black (curtains) water stains will make it seems not clean!

Bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was very good , very convenient to take the high speed train as well.

The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There were sweet touches, such as a fruit platter, free mini-bar and fresh flowers in the room. The cleaners even folded my clothes. The breakfast had a good range of options. The location was great. We were able to walk to popular attractions such as the East and West pagodas, old town and Green Lake. The hotel was in a converted industrial area and had a fantastic brewery next door, as well as other bars and restaurants in the front courtyard. The staff spoke English and were very helpful.

beautiful rooms, many perks that come with it : one delicious free beer every night from the bar next door, apparently a pool access at the hotel nearby, and super kind staff that speaks great English and accommodating with our requests. good location, and they even brought us cheesecake one night for my friend’s birthday! rooms have larger toiletry bottles instead of the classic small ones, so it’s better for the environment :)

Easy to find, helpful staff with some speaking English, clean modern room, transport arranged easily, breakfast yummy and next to an upmarket European style brewery that gave discount to guests. I’d stay again for sure.

The manager King Chen wasn’t always there. He was the only member of staff who spoke English. The non English speaking staff were not helpful. Hotel reception area was freezing cold. Receptionists wore coats it was so cold. The hotel restaurant is permanently shut and we could not find any decent restaurants in the local area so often went without dinner.the hotel is decor is dark and gloomy contrary to photos and the local area is a bit deserted at night. Breakfasts are disappointing.

The hotel manager King Chen was very helpful. He accompanied us to the bank and pharmacy.
