It is strategically located in the middle of old town. Very clean, the diffuser oil smells so good and calm. The owners picked us up, and they tried very hard to explain to us (with short breath after helping us with the bags). The towels were replaced every day. They even have washer and dryer in house, veryyy convienient so that we can have fresh clothes for our next destination.

I still fondly reminisce about the joyful journey in Lijiang and the delightful stay at Lijiang Gui Yuan Tian Ju Guesthouse.

I have made the right decision to stay at Lijiang Gui Yuan Tian Ju Guesthouse, located in the old town of Lijiang. The location is perfect for exploring the ancient city conveniently. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated with a traditional wooden atmosphere. Moreover, they are equipped with various amenities. What's even more special is that the guesthouse has a kitchen area and provides free use of laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. My family and I received excellent service from Thomas and a little girl named Yuan Feng Jing Lin since the first day we arrived. The guesthouse provides a luggage transportation service from the main road, which is a great help if you have to drag your luggage through the cobbled streets of the old town. If you need to book tours, Thomas is there to assist and make the necessary arrangements, especially for trips to the snow mountain. Without a doubt, I will return to stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience during my visit to Lijiang!

There’s not a single thing I didn’t like.

Style is amazing. The owner is very very nice as are his employees. They go to great lengths to make the guests' stay as wonderful as possible. And especially for foreigners they offer great help to book trips, to explain how to get to the attractions. The property is super clean and great value for the money. One employee was particularly nice. He showed me how to do the Chinese tea ceremony step by step and sat there and drank the tea with us. You can only. Hope for such employees. And the woman working there woke up extra early to help us with the luggage to get to the nearest taxi point. Thank you!

What a great location, close to everything yet secluded and tucked away in a nice small dead-end alley. The old wooden house with courtyards was lovingly kept intact yet the rooms are fully equipped with all modern and luxurious comforts, and very clean. I booked 2 rooms: a two-bedrooms suite for my sister's family, and a small room for myself, but I got upgraded to a fantastic room with huge space, which is next to my sister's family suite. It was truly a magnificent upgrade for me. And I loved every minutes I spent in it. I got so many room upgrades in my traveling life but nothing is quite like this one. I truly appreciate the host for the experience. My sister's suite was nicely featured with lovely touches. Drinking water was supplied daily. Mufu, market square, riverside lanes, and many good restaurants are all near by. We walked everywhere. Lijiang is a town made for nice strolling. Some streets in Lijiang maybe crowded but if you know how to navigate this intricate and hauntingly beautiful town, a few steps away, you can have a charming alley, or some quiet squares or beautiful corners all by yourself. After a day exploring, it felt nice to get back to our quiet space to rest, we slept really well. The staffs are all very helpful and kind that made our stay more enjoyable. I totally recommended this charming hotel.

The accommodation was very well located and charming. The room was very clean and I loved the preservation of the old style. The staff was extremely kind. I arrived late in the evening, around 23:30, and they even picked me up from one of the gates of the Ancient city. The streets are preserved as in the old days, they are made of stones which can be a bit challenging if you have a suitcase. Therefore, the staff is so kind that they pick up the guests with a bike that carries the luggage. So they did the same with me even though I arrived late in the evening. My last day I left the luggage at the reception and picked it up in the afternoon, the bike to carry the luggage was already taken to pick up a new guest but the staff kindly asked the neighbours for their bike in order not to let me wait (so kind of them). Plus they speak English which is not that common. Overall, I had a great time and I cannot complain about anything but just thank the staff for their kindness and hospitality.
