Located near the Old City of Lijiang, but in a quite area. The host, Otto, is a very charming young man who likes to make you feel welcome at his stay. His knowledge of Chinese tea culture is impressive and if you have time you can sit down with him in the lobby for tea and a chat. His English is quite proficient and likes to make jokes and have fun. He is also very generous in providing snacks and such. The rooms are cosy, decorated with beautiful wooden craftworks. The lobby has a covered patio with plants and places to hang out and chill. There is also a place on the roof to hang out and enjoy the view.

Hard beds

We had a last minute change of dates which the hotel helped us with by moving us to a nearby hotel called Hotel Gemai' er. The stay here was great, warm, big rooms huge beds (but rather hard), and tea and snacks available all day at reception. The staff were very friendly as helpful.
