AustriaThey served good breakfast and one of the best dinner we had in China! Our guide Leo was very nice and helpful. He showed us around. The village is beautiful during the day, and even more at night. The surrounding area feels very safe and less touristy (we stayed during January).

United StatesI am from Arizona United States and i came to San Jiang with my 24 year old son hoping to expose him to the local culture and people. I absolutely loved the experience of staying in the heart of a local minority village! The Lost World building is a solid wood 3 story structure that has been completed remodeled with modern comforts (beds showers and amenities ) while maintaining the original architecture integrity and beauty! The people are so nice and welcoming and the village people (young and old) dressed in their traditional clothes and put on a wonderful performance for all tourists. There are no cars in the village except at the entrance so we just walked around and took in the beautiful scenery. Also I am very impressed how clean the restrooms are and the villages are as the local people are sweeping constantly! A special praise to the owner Wei and his staff they made sure we had western style breakfast and also cooked us a delicious dinner with a variety of local fresh vegetables and meats. We walked through several villages full of small shops and the nicely paved country paths along the river. Absolutely picture perfect green farm fields and mountains and I feel like I am indeed in a beautiful lost world! So glad we stay here and will love to come back again and stay longer next time!

Everything was perfect: the charming location in the lovely village, the room was large and comfortable. We had a good Chinese breakfast in our wooden room. The owner helped us in all our requests and gave us very good suggestions. I strongly recommend a stay at Lost World !

BelgiumEverything was perfect, I regretted we didn't plan to stay at least one more night in this b&b as I'm sure there were plenty of hiking possibilities in the area which could have kept us occupied for several days.
It is just heaven : the smell of wood brought back childhood memories of the Alps. The suite was perfectly located in the quiet village overlooking the rice fields, but with everything you need walking distance away. The terrace was just the most peaceful place on earth and the staff was extremely friendly helping us with all the paying hussle travelling to China as a foreigner can nowadays include if you don't have WeChat.

The hotel is built as a traditional house right beside the village square and it's traditional drum house. Wei was very helpful. He booked us a taxi from the train station to the hotel , explained about the activities in the area and the spatial traditional dinner and dancing. He even let us keep the room until 16:30 with no additional charge

First of all, Wei and his staff from lost world are incredibly kind and helpful. They were available for any question and gave advice when needed.The little apartment was cozy and the whole accommodation with its wooden interieur special and charming. We ate dinner twice at our place and asked for a mixture of veggy and meat, both times very good and varied food!
