Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaThe place is like a maze. It is difficult to find places, most times we got lost using the elevators. It is confusing when you get to floor -1 or 1, or 2-where the lobby is but it is in another building. One time I ended up in a place that was a "game room" but the place was empty and when I decided to take the stairs just one flight up, it was blocked. There was no other exit except going back to the elevator and was scared to think if there is an emergency, one will be totally trapped on that floor.
I like that they serve really good food during the breakfasts that we took during our stay. They have varied choices for any kind of diet requirement. The receptionists can learn to be more bilingual as they had to use the phone app to communicate with us, but all in all, they were efficient. The location is great, right across a food market and a couple minutes walk to the beach. I would love to go back to Pullman when time allows next time!

RussiaBathroom didn’t work (has problems with plugging), stuff doesn’t speak English which is really strange for a five star resort, bar closes early, rooms are outdated, very small closet for 2 people
This is a very nice, but a bit outdated property. The room facing the swimming pool was really nice, we enjoyed it. 5 min from beach

MongoliaDuring our stay, the pool was not warm enough to swim. The hot jacuzzi was not even close to warm.
The breakfast was excellent containing various choices both Chinese and Western—a comfortable environment to eat and with a nice staff. The bed was comfortable. Eco-friendly bottled shampoo and body lotion.

Hong KongThe hotel seemed under renovation and staff didn't understand English fully so communication was a problem
The accessibility to the pool from the room was the main attraction to this place.

United Statesmanagement can be better on the few workers who just clearly has had it in their lives and don't want to work. they come off as dismissive and disrespectful. fortunately it's well staffed so easy to avoid, just find someone else. there was construction going on around the lobby for the last week of my stay. quite loud.
quite good, beautiful spacious rooms and wonderful staff for the most part. hard working cleaning ladies. one row of rooms were unfortunately situated right by the ac unit that supplied the entire building. and the noise can be heard all day and night as if a generator was running outside your room. they were kind enough to switch me out on request, and to a larger family room when no other rooms were available. the staff tries their best to speak english, though not very fluent.

SingaporeThe lounge at the main building closes quite early. It was supposed to close at 9pm but most cocktails we tried ordering when we got there after dinner about 8pm were not available. The lounge is a noce place to chill in the evening though.
We selected Yalong Bay because we wanted a break to chill rather than site see. The Pullman resort is quite self-contained and we booked a villa that comes with a pool, jacuzzi, and an outhouse of sorts for recreation and dining. Breakfast was included and it's an impressive spread of mostly local dishes, which were rotated on a daily basis. The staff are also very helpful despite the sometimes language barrier (being able to speak Mandarin is ideal). There is a free electric buggy that id on call 24 hours to ferry guests anywhere within the resort. Traveling out of the resorts is also easy via the Didi app and proces are very reasonable (on average SGD 2 - 5 per trip for an average distance of 8km). There is also a night market about 200m walk from the resort. Yalong beach is also a 200m walk.

SingaporeThe facilities are a bit old. The resort needs more maintainance. The Yalong Bay beach is a bit far away from the resort.
The villa comes with a small private pool with good privacy. It's well-designed, spacious and well-facilitated. The staff there are friendly and helpful. The environment and amenities are pleasant inside the whole resort. The breakfast and afternoon tea are good. The nearby restaurants and shopping areas are within walking distance.

ChinaOne main thing that we didn’t like was moldy smell in the room at first when we entered. Very strong, with AC pumping and being in a room for a while, you get used to it and it’s seems alright. But just heads up for people with allergies.
Hotel itself is beautiful, nice surroundings: lake, pool, main lobby, soda bar etc. Rooms are really nice, spacious bathroom , Philips hairdryer(2100w)(info for girls).

ChinaThe breakfast could be better quality / choice. Although the public beach is only about 5-10 minute walk away, if you want to be directly on the beach…you’ll have to choose a more expensive option over the road. Also as with most of Yalong Bay options, if you want restaurants and bars, it’s a good 30 minute drive away from this area.
We were upgraded to a family suite so our room(s) was huge!

South AfricaSome of the pool areas and parts of the property need maintenance. With a lick of paint, a gardener to tend to the weeds and things will look better. Our stay was post lockdown in parts of China so the lack of tourists for 4 months may also be the reason why the buildings and pools look like they need some care.
We loved the long pool and the views and peacefulness. The shady areas in the pool are great for relaxing during the warmest part of the day. The sound of running water and the hotel is not very noisy and busy with makes for a peaceful stay.

United StatesThe property was among the first built in Yalong Bay and age is showing compared to other newer resorts… yet is aging gracefully. We didn’t mind the more “well-seasoned” aspects of the property but might bother some.
For a private, quiet, relaxed holiday… the pool villas are absolutely perfect.

United StatesFacilities were limited: only one pool was open most of the time and it was connected to private rooms. Pools were generally not open before 10am and closed by 6pm. There were limited food options at resort other than breakfast. The Pullman does not have direct beach access. Many of the neighboring resorts have spaces reserved on the nearby beach. There are a few restaurants in a nearby compound; limited options for for vegetarians. This resort might be best for people with cars.
This is a nice spot for 2 or 3 days of quiet. The pools are lovely. There is an excellent and plentiful breakfast (Chinese style). You'll find your room to be spacious and comfortable. Mine included a large bathtub and plenty of warm water. The best thing about the Pullman is that it was willing to take Shanghai residents soon after the long covid lockdown was lifted.

SingaporeI was disappointed with my stay at this Pullman hotel. The property feels outdated, with broken furniture in our room, which made it uncomfortable. Several facilities, including the pool and game room, were closed, limiting the experience further. The buffet breakfast was underwhelming, with a limited and repetitive selection, and the food quality was just average. Overall, the stay fell short of the standards I expected from a Pullman property.
