The location is fantastic: very close to the beautiful Westlake, which makes it so convenient to explore the area. I also really appreciated that you could help with laundry and bike rentals – it made everything so much easier! The room was perfect: well-equipped, warm, cozy, and spotlessly clean. It was lovely, maybe because the hotel is getting older, cleaning could be a little better in my bathroom and common area? Traffic jams on weekends, but that's all over Hangzhou (and you can walk to Metro)

Quiet, friendly and home-like budget hotel. I booked for 2 nights, but I liked it and extended a few times for about a week. It's located in a green and leafy tourist precinct, next to Botanical Gardens, about a 20 minute drive from downtown. I especially liked having so many trees and beauty around, quiet (hotel is at end of small pedestrian alley), and the manager is kind and helpful advice on many different topics (she can speak OK English, rare in Hangzhou). Because the hotel is small, sometimes other guests stop and chat with you, which I liked. There's also really a lot of restaurants and cafes around, including a couple of cool and delicious ones. I stayed in one of the top level attic rooms, it's quite small and low roof, but quiet. The weekends in November got very busy in this area with tourists and traffic jams - but it's still nice to walk and bicycle around. The manager helped me to rent a bicycle through my phone, thank you! Cosy and great value!

No direct vehicle access. Need to trek with luggage, sloppy route, watch out for ninja 🥷 motorcycles and bicycles. Old electrical appliance, air conditioner required maintenance, water drippling in one of the room. A little dusty decorations.

The place is beautiful and comfy. The staff goes behond any expectations for helping you. We had in total three bedrooms, all were clean and comfortable, and we could enjoy a balcony. We had the possibility to do some laundry which helped us a great deal on a long journey.

The room was decent, but the bathroom was kind of odd. The shower didn't work properly and seem to not be adjustable to my height (190cm), so it was difficult to shower.

Can not comment on the breakfast, since I didn't try it here. Regarding the location, I was able to enjoy the walk to the West lake, but the next metro station is a little far away. I have not used the buses much, so I assume there is an easier way to get into the city than the way I did it: take a bicycle from any of the bike-sharing services to the Metro.

The location is beautiful and it has easy access to many wonderful restaurants. We were able to walk to a gorgeous botanical garden just around the corner, and West Lake is a nice walking distance. We had a comfortable stay overall and the price was very reasonable. The hosts Lily and Jason were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt very looked after.

Reasonably close to West Lake, so a nice location. Staff speaks decent English (rare during my entire travel) and was helpful with taxis to and from the property. I even received a checkup if I had woken up by request, and staff walked with me through the cold to arrange a taxi to the airport. Room was pretty good as well for the price.

For improvement, just add shaver or razor kit for male guests. Also if they can provide complementary coffee or tea inside the room will be great especially during the winter. Other than that, it was a great experience.

The host/owner was very helpful in all aspects, she would run with you to get to the bus to my school, she was even ready to hand in some coins for the bus. Also they were insightful if you want to explore Hangzhou in terms of transportation option so you can enjoy sight seeings. During free time, they would share thoughts about the place, the people and your experiences. During my last few days, they also helped me to book a train ticket going to Xiamen for my next destination. The secret of a genuine service is the heart and the willingness to help others and for me they were very much willing to help in all aspects. Special thanks to Jason for picking me up from the airport and assisted me to go subway for my next trip. If I'll go back to Hangzhou, I will definitely stay at Hangzhou Citynest Music B&B again just give me more discounts, just joking. Thank you and more powers!

Friendly staff who met us with a smile and helped us with our luggage when checking in and out. Also the place is comfortable and clean and has a very good location; near the bus stop ,and there were many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It’s in a quiet area and we really enjoyed our stay . I definitely recommend this place!
