Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandTired rooms especially the bathrooms (visible mould). Noisy air con that kept us awake at night. Dangerous wooden stairs with no hand rail. Very small bedroom that you had to edge around to avoid the TV on the wall.
Spacious room. Serviced every day by friendly staff, however, with the usage of water, we'd prefer not to have clean towels every day. Front desk staff were very helpful. Close to metro and really good food options in near by mall. Bottled water supplied daily.

MontenegroIt's okay to pay a service charge, but it's not okay not to mention that somewhere during the booking process. Also, when we booked, we were quoted one price, but at reception, it was a different price.
The rooms are very good, clean, and spacious. The hotel is near the metro station, which is very convenient.

Thailand1) Air conditioners need serious cleaning especially its filters. 2) Bathroom door shouldn't be the sliding glass door as it lacks of privacy and unable to block the unwilling smell.
1) Location is just too perfect. The hotel is next to Starbucks, food courts, few restaurants including tea & coffee shops, subway, and minimarts. The outside environment is good, no noise pollutions from traffic or else except the noise from other tenants when they are closing the door. 2) The room service is great, very clean and well-organized

HondurasYou should first know that they will charge you a huge deposit on arrival, which we didn't know about before, so that was an awful shock. The location... Sure, it's only 4 min walking away from an mrt station, but it's so far from everything. It took like 40min to get anywhere (Yu Garden, The Bund, Shanghai Tower, etc.) There is nothing for tourists nearby, so if you're here for tourism and leisure, reconsider. And while you might (like me) initially think that because it's nearby the airport and train station, that it MUST be convenient AT LEAST to get to/from the train station/airport, truth is you still have to take a huge turn in the mrt to get to the hotel, so it's the same as if you were staying in the city center. You're also 1hr20min away from Disneyland and the Pudong Airport. I also felt the room wasn't super clean. There was a layer of dust on everything, and marks of some water damage/mold on the bed rest. This also had the worst bathroom I saw in my trip through China, as the door doesn't close at all. It's a slide door but it stops way before it should, and it leaves a huge gap where anyone outside can see you (by standing right in front of it, standing on the living room, or even from the bed upstairs!) And the door itself is quite see through (the bathroom walls are also very transparent) so you have to trust your travel partner will be looking elsewhere during the whole time you're in the bathroom, and that no one walks in the room because they can see your figure from the entrance door if you're showering. This also means there's absolutely no noise isolation from the bathroom to the rest of the room. Not ideal!! LAST BUT NOT LEAST, i found the bed to be way too hard, too uncomfortable for me. I ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs sometimes.
The area around the hotel is admittedly quite nice. It's a rich area, which means there's not too many people around but the ones you do see are strolling around the trees and small green areas with their dogs, which feels cute! It also means that the restaurants nearby are super expensive though (unless you do what we did and only eat at the nearby Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King or Pizza Hut). There's also convenience stores nearby so that's quite nice. Heating worked fine, both hot water and the heating in the living room and the second floor was ok. You can't access the balcony but it does have a nice view and provides a lot of natural light. Desk upstairs is quite convenient. Breakfast was good, although not the best one I've seen here, but quite a few Asian and Western breakfast options (no good coffee though!!)

SingaporeCleanliness - The dirty toilet floor needs to be scrubbed. Dust on the tv console; hidden corners not cleaned. Cleanliness of the room is just passable. Aircon - Foul smell blowing out from the aircon unit. It needs servicing. Heater - The heater is not working. The room is very cold in winter. Receptionist - Unhelpful and do not smile at all.
Location - Nice and safe vicinity and very close to the metro station. Beds - 2 queen size beds in the loft unit. Breakfast - Simple and well organised. Friendly staff in the cafe. Doorman - Friendly and helpful

United KingdomUpstairs & downstairs beds for 3/4. Badly designed room. Only 2 of us staying fortunately, but no chair, wardrobe next to bed, should be other side under stairs, balcony but locked, little storage in bathroom.... Reception even warns against safety. Ok for two, but standard double bedroom probably better.

Hong KongThe narrow & steep staircase in the room makes it difficult to lug the luggage up and down. The room emits a foul smell whenever u come back to the room probably because of poor drainage or ventilation in the toilet.
The location is excellent. 5mins walk to the metro station. Lots of eateries around. The room is clean. There’s a washing machine and even a small dryer in the deluxe room! A good size work table. Nice Avaha toiletries. A kitchen with microwave and fridge and some basic kitchenware & utensils.

GermanyThe apartment is not as new as you see in the picture from hotel. After years the whole apartment is obsolete. Besides, I was not happy that the staff of hotel just came to my apartment with their cards after I ordered service. It’s better for me when I opened the door myself
There is a subway station in the near by hotel. But the hotel is not directly in the city. You must take subway
