To be honest I really don't have any real cons. The room might have had a "smell" when I first entered the room. But after just opening the window for about 5 minutes it was gone for the whole time. Secondly I personally think the shampoo didn't smell nice, but this I wouldn't consider bad , since each person's opinion might be different.

The location: The hostel is very well located and close to two different metro stations which you are able to reach in about 10 minutes by walk. Close around the hostel are you able to find a big supermarket (2min. by walk), several restaurants (5min.), a bakery (5min.), (5min.) bars and some convenience stores. The staff: The staff in the hostel are able to speak english on a conversational level and were able to give some suggestions for restaurants and places to go. They were very friendly, kind and helpful. The room itself: I booked a queensbed room for 3 night and have to say that I really enjoyed staying there. First of all the the staff let me choose between two different beds in different floor, so I took the one in the fourth floor, even the hostel doesn't have an elevator. But the green view was very nice to wake up to. The room offered a doublebed, a cozy and very comfortable chair with a small table, a private bathroom with shower gel and shampoo, toilettpaper, towels and slippers. Each day I got new towels if needed. The room was very clean and also had an AC. Since I wasn't able to hear any neighbors the sleepquality was very nice as well.

The bed was a little squeaky. For some the bed may be a little hard but it was softer than most Chinese beds I’ve experienced. I was perfectly happy.

Very friendly staff, helped in every way possible to help us find our way around the area. Easy to find and walk from Metro. Good instructions emailed in advance (before I lost data) and everyone could direct us to this place even without my maps / phone working at all (and without speaking a word of Chinese). Clean rooms. Shower gel, mosquito repellent plug in, a few hangers, black out curtains, good A/C, fly screens, sheets and towels all provided. Stunning bar/restaurant next door and super eateries all around the area. Lots of choice for Asian and western palates. Generally a lovely atmosphere and vibe. Thankyou. You guys are doing a fantastic job. We will come again!

The staff was extremely polite and helpful and went out of their way for me. The location is great, 10 min to the metro station. A huge supermarket is 20m away and there ate a lot of restaurants nearby. The lobby was spacious with a lot of chairs and tables so you can get some work done.

No brushtooth in bathroom, no TV but no matter

Located within a natural park, easy to reach by taxi from the metro stop, just 5 minute / 10 yuan, nice hostel in ecological stle, friendly and smiling staff speaks perfect English and very helpfull, quiet rooms, I opted for a private room with bathroom, laundry service. At 50 meters you will find from the supermarket to the small shops like family markets, restaurants and bars with live music, coffee shops. A paradise out of chaos. Very honest price for Shenzhen

if the bathroom light(mine is queen room) is white light and brighter might be more comfortable. And wish they had a better sound-proof door, I heard ppl taking bath and talking in public bathroom clearly, even in 2am.

Quite a walk to the nearest metro and our room is small and was right opposite a communal bathroom for those in dormitories and looking down to the rubbish bins is not ideal. Comes noon (check out time) on the dot, their staffs will knock on your door to remind you of it - first time experiencing such service 😅

It was very quiet- nobody sitting downstairs. It was chinese new year and no restaurants open nearby, obviously not the hostels fault, but they did not help us order in food as we did not have the APP. Beds hard. 15 mins walk from the MTR.

There were some guests that smoked in the bathrooms but the cleaning team was able to get the smell out by morning.
