I could see Orient Pearl Tower right from the window and view lovely at night location maybe a 20 mins to desired place well is ok with me but hope more malls will be great and its a very beautiful hotel and rooms love it and cozy and chic

NetherlandsHonestly, the property is aging and it shows. If I pay nearly $400 per night for a room, I expect it to be in mint condition. However, the room shows its age and makes you feel they forgot to remodel 5-7 years ago. Also, the buttons to handle the curtains and lights are dated; it feels VERY 1990s cool, not what I expect for this price. See images of the scuffed and worn out furniture attached. The carpet was also old and not well positioned. Overall, there is a gap between the price, service and amenities and the state of the room. It’s really a bummer. Secondly, Flair bar is nice, but very overpriced. The cocktails are expensive and underwhelming (sub-par made) and the wine was just bad (our party tried 3 different ones). Having to pay $25-$30 for a drink on uncomfortable seats and THEN getting hit with VAT+service charge on top of that (16%) is really not OK for what you get. Lastly, only one English TV channel. Really?!
The pros of the Ritz-Carlton are spearheaded by the staff and the impeccable service. Jerry (from the lounge) helped me check in, ensured I got a great room and helped me get some perks. His help was a great start of our stay. But honestly, all staff was great and extremely professional. The room I stayed in (4116) has a great view of the bund and was very spacious. The shower had amazing temperature and water pressure, the WiFi was stable and fast and overall amenities were good. I was impressed by housekeeping and their flexibility to make up the room at all times. The turn-down service was great as well. Overall, the staff and service make you feel like a very valued guest, and that goes a long way. The location is good too. Close to line 2 and 9 metro, on top of IFC mall (luxury and expensive) and across the street of the Superbrand mall (accessible, everyday shops and restaurants). Right next to the famous TV tower and walking distance to the riverside.

Great location, nice view, and TV in the bathroom. Direct connection to Metro, 10 minutes drive to the Bund. Amazing rooftop bar in the hotel.

TurkeyWifi didnt work on my laptop, but worked on my mobiles. It was in 26th Nov when I stayed there, the weather was around 8-10 degrees during the day and almost 0-1 degree at nights. But the air conditioning was still in Summer Mode. So it was not heating. I asked to reception twice and got a funny answer that it will turn to Winter Mode below 10 degrees while it was exactly 8 degrees at that time. I weared my coat during my stay all night and asked for seperate heater which at least made the room warmer.
Room designed very meticulously, the usage of the products, designs, view, all the details were perfect. Feel like you are special. Location was more then perfect. Exactly inside the heart of the city. Breakfast was great, even for Europeans. And staff, everybody were very polite, helpful, know what to do.
