We booked two rooms and had an excellent experience. The host was very friendly and attentive—he welcomed us with fresh fruit and made us feel right at home. He helped us arrange taxis and gave us great tips on what to see around the city. Thanks to his advice, we were able to make the most of our stay. The location was very good, walking distance to everywhere. The host was super kind, he went to get us when we arrived at Nanhua gate, so we didn't get lost. They received us with fruits and tea and explained to us the whole area with a map, also recommended some activities and places to eat. He also helped us to get tickets with great seats for a show and with the taxis. The room was clean and nice with a beautiful view.

Nice and cosy hotel in a quieter part of Fenghuang, whilst still having a mesmerising view of the vivid lights of Fenghuang River at night. The hotel is located amazingly, being close to both the riverside and the Phoenix Old Town. It's a great starting point for some adventuring on foot! Big thanks to our host and his wife for their support and their part in making our stay magical.

It wasn't a problem for us but for some people it may be bit too hard to climb the stairs to the accommodation if you have knee/back/leg issues.

The host was down to earth and very helpful in every way. When we arrived he grabbed our luggage for us up the stairs and into the room all the way. Before we settled down in our rooms, he gave us snacks, fruits and even brewed some tea for us to drink. He also took his time showing us on the local map to do and not to do things around the town which was super helpful. Views straight out of the room balcony was superb too.

The inn is conveniently located in close proximity to the attractions and local restaurants. Fantastic hospitality- the host went out of the way to welcome us and made us feel like home. The room has plenty of characteristics. The view to the river (we booked one with balcony) was stunning.

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect!

I have nothing but good things to say about my Stay at the Wang Jiang reclusive boutique Inn! The owner picked us up from the gate and helped us with all our luggage’s, insisted on carrying them for us up the stairs, and made us feel very warm and welcomed. Although we were only staying at this city for one night and arrived in the evening, the owner made sure that everything was accommodated to our needs and made our one nightt in the ancient phoenix city an unforgettable experience. My only regret is that we didn’t stay here for a few more nights. The owner prepared us fresh tea and snacks and fruits, and took the time and patience to brief us on the activities and about the city. From helping us book the local performance tickets, the boat tickets, to taking us to the tradition clothing place to rent dresses, he made sure that our night was truely special and that we could explore the beautiful city to its full potential. I would have been so lost without his help and our experience would not have been possible without his amazing hospitality and help. In terms of the accomodation itself, I was truely in awe. The location is at the heart of the ancient town, with the viewing bridge right at my doorstep. The balcony to my room had the perfect night view of the whole river and landscape, I truely have nothing but amazinggg things to say about the property itself. Once again, my stay at this property was incredible and and while experience was unforgettable and would not have been possible without the help of the staff at this inn. When my friend and I were running late to the boar ride on the river, the owner even drove all the way to where we were and waited for us to pick us up and drive us to the next location, as taxis in this city was not as accessible as we had thought. All in all, everything about the stay, the activities, the staff, the experience was perfect and would not have been possible without the help of the staff at this Inn.

The warm welcome at the train station followed by a warm friendly check-in. Everything about this little Inn was lovely. The location was perfect & we walked everywhere. Lovely little room & very clean & tidy. Thanks to Wechat translator we could communicate easily with our lovely hosts. They even drove us from Fenghaung to Yangshuo in Chinese New Year traffic due to us making an error with our train tickets. It took nearly 9 hours & then our host had to drive all the way back. We cannot thank them enough for this kind gesture. The dog was also very cute.

Nothing, everything was great.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with balconies overlooking the river. The location is perfect, slightly away from the crowd yet very central. Most remarkable was the manager, who sat down with us for almost an hour over tea to explain in detail the different paths we could walk, what to see and where to eat. All his recommendations were on point. Great value for money with a very hospitable host.

This place was great. The location is perfect, in quiet part of the river, but super close to the main spots (both the best views of the river and the old town). The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was super comfy. The guy that manages the hotel is super helpful, he receives you in the main street (the hotel is in a little alley) and then gives you amazing recommendations for restaurants and what to do.

Perfect stay, very warm welcoming and the owner gave me all the directions before I arrived. He came to the taxi station and picked me up, help me to bring my luggage to the location, gave me all the information about FengHuang and asked me to pay attention to some things (not good things), all, everything! Trust me, no one can beat his services since I traveled a lot. And my room was in the highest floor with most beautiful views of day and night!
