IsraelThe only drawback was the lack of communication through Booking.com. I reached out to the hotel a few times via the platform, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any responses.
I had a great stay at the Marriott. The room was very spacious and well-maintained, with excellent cleaning services. The staff noticed that I had drunk a lot of tea, so they started providing extra water and even brought me some special varieties of tea, which was a nice touch. The hotel offers complimentary self-service laundry, which is very convenient. The location is also a plus, being relatively close to the metro and the northern train station. It’s about a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Additionally, we were allowed to check in early, which made our stay even more comfortable.

United StatesThere was a leak in the bathroom shower stall, so that water got everywhere on the bathroom floor. it was more an inconvenience than a problem, and we did not bother to tell the hotel, but it should be fixed as a part of routine maintenance..
The location is very convenient to the North Train Station and for getting to and from the airport. The staff was very helpful in helping us get a large car to the airport (We had a lot of luggage). The bed was extremely comfortable, and Housekeeping was very good in getting us an extra quilt when requested.

SpainLocation is quite far from the city center. It's somewhat close to the North train station, although I don't recommend trying to walk as there are some roads that are nearly impossible to cross and you have to make a big detour. It's 10 minutes from a metro station that takes you downtown in approximately 45 minutes. Breakfast was underwhelming. It had variety, but the options were not that exciting,

SingaporeAltho this is the nearest hotel to Xi An North Railway station, the hotel does not provide airport transfer service. I hailed a taxi from xi An North Railway taxi queue and had a very bad experience with the driver halfway claiming that he doesnt know the way to Marriot Hotel and need me to GPS for him.(And, this was after I had asked him if he knew Marriot Hotel before I got up his taxi). Finally after he said he knew the way, he drove so fast and past the Marriot Hotel entrance and had to make another big turn back to the hotel. When he overshot the Marriot Hotel, he also stopped his taxi fare meter. Along the big turn back journey back to Marriot, he narrowly banged into a road divider and made such a big swerve that I banged my head against the taxi window. Finally when he sent us to Marriot, we had to pay him a little bit more than the fare that was usually shown on a ride app. In summary, the short ride with the taxi driver made me decide it is likely more transparent and safer to try to get transport from ride apps, instead of self hail from the street in china.
The hotel staff were very helpful. Thank you to Ella, Kevin and Clarkson for answering our questions regards nearby places to enjoy the flowers. Esplly to Kevin, who also helped us book the Qinglong Si tickets using his local number. The lady staff(Ms Wei) preparing our room for check-in also left a very welcoming note on our room table. The Marriot staff exhibits high customer service.
