Excellent and modern hotel with a great location in the city centre Good buffet breakfast !

The breakfast had many different options. There should be something for everyone depending on your needs. They also gave me 2 bonus cups of barista made coffee per day based on my booking.com status level I believe. Along with the breakfast they do an extra food service from 2 - 4 pm (all for free). Just some fruit juice, fruit, and local cakes. A small amount of food but I tried it out one day and it was nice. The rest of the time I was away from the hotel. I also booked a trip to Huashan mountain one day and stayed one night there in between my stay at Jinmao hotel. The hotel has everything you need. I thought my room might be noisy at night time but just after midnight the street goes quiet and everything was super quiet until morning time. I would recommend this hotel highly as it's just slightly off the beaten track but very close to everything also. The staff were very nice. You can walk to the south city walls easily. There is a street full of pubs just one street lower than this one. Look out for it. You can get anywhere you want in the city or to nearby towns like Huashan mountain, using the metro and fast trains. I used the metro and hello blue bikes to get around the city. Right across the road you can get Biang Biang Noodles from a small restaurant. This is a speciality of the region and you should try it. You will get it many places in the city though. Also, right across the road is a nice massage place with nice staff. Worth a visit if you have done a lot of walking. I didn't use the gym but had a look and it seemed adequate for small workouts. Also, throughout the hotel they provide free bottles of water for you. A nice extra. I very much liked this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The room was very confortable, perfect size for a family, everything was very clean, and it had all the itens we needed. The staff is very kind and atencious. The breakfast is great, lot of options and very tasty. The location is just perfect, the street has tons of options for food and for shopping. Nothing to complain.

The hotel is located in a central position, inside Xi'an Ancient Walls. The structure is modern and clean; the staff has been very helpful and it was possible to communicate also in English.

Very professional service. This hotel is family-friendly. Ms Elsa from reception helped me coordinate with our driver. The other lady earlier helped me with my Alipay. I saw the roof of the bell tower from my window. It was not noisy from the 12/F.

There was no safe in our double room (only family rooms have these) and the AC in the room was set at 26oC which was too warm for us specially with the heat outside. WiFi wasn’t great, but we didn’t care too much. Staff didn’t speak English but were very nice and helpful.

Location, location, location! Amazing food street market right by the hotel - the mosque, the bell tower and the drum tower a short walk away. The South Gate just 15min walking through lovely street full of restaurants and bars and a lovely temple. The hotel provided a great breakfast too!! Cool hotel with fantastic coffee shop by the side of the lobby.

The free coffee wasn't that good, but there was a very good coffee shop attached to the hotel.

What a great hotel and so cheap (compared to Beijing Hotels anyway). The staff had limited English but went out of their way to assist whenever I had a question or issue. The included breakfast was great as it also had some Western options as well as Chinese fare.

People at the reception were very unkind to us. They are not prepare to receive western people, they don’t know a word in English and doesn’t have a translator. We had to leave the hotel at 6:30 am and although breakfast started at 7 everything was ready. We requested to be able to serve us a juice and it was denied to us. It was just a juice!! Very unfriendly. we had paid for a breakfast that we didn’t have.

It is very well located and ver close to many important places. There are many places to eat and it is close to subway station.

Excellent location - close to the Drum Tower and many restaurants nearby, with great facilities. Staff didn't speak much English (but we had the same experience at other hotels in China), so communication was largely done through a translator app.

So-called "family" room could have been bigger.

Location is just perfect, a short walk from Drum Tower. Staff is very friendly and in general is able to communicate in English. We were offered a trip to Terracotte Warriors in a very good price.

Free breakfast was ok,staff all so friendly,they tried their best to converse in English whenever they couldn't,they would ask the nearby tour agent to help.free afternoon tea(not many option but was nice after a hot day),free coffee was nice..room clean and have unlimited water..location nearby many eatery,walking distance near to everything(bell tower,Muslim streets,drum tower)

the bathroom does not have a door, only shower. so if you are travelling with someone else might be a bit tricky ;) the reception staff does not speak much english, the emails exchanged before arrival were replied in mandarin (!).

good value for money. the location is great, very close to the muslim quarter and shops. basic ammenities and very comfy bed.

Clean room with a bathroom. No space to put a large suitcase, but this is a common drawback. Good breakfast. Location next to the Two Towers, but you have to walk a long way to the station. In the evening, the street next to the hotel turns into one big restaurant.
