We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BelgiumAt recepcion they don't speak a word of english ans it's very difficult to communicate even using an online translator. Breakfast is very much chinese, with some bread and jam, but no coffee or tea available.
Nice old style rooms, good size room. Quiet even though right now there's works right outside the door.

BelarusWhile booking I had prepayment 100%. But when I arrived - they told no money from booking. And I had to pay myself there. Credit card terminal had problems. Luckily I had money on balance Alipay. No one speak English.
Very nice room and great location. But on the fifth floor no elevator, just till forth. With luggage not comfortable. The view from Balcony on the construction road. Very noisy.

ChinaI booked this property for the Labor Day holiday, and when I got there I was told I didn’t have a room. I originally asked to change the dates on my stay, and they told me to cancel. Since I didn’t want the fee for cancelling, I requested for an exemption, and instead of cancelling my stay, they requested to change the dates, which I agreed to, so it still showed confirmed on my end. I traveled for 2 days to get here and then when I got here at 8 pm at night they told me that they didn’t have my reservation and that I had cancelled, despite them literally requesting a date change on their end and me agreeing. So I had to go and try to find another place to stay during a time when everything is fully booked—I managed to find somewhere an hour out of the way from the original city center due to the lack of hotels available.
I didn’t get to stay at it, so I don’t have anything to like about it.

BulgariaStaff is not helpful at all and they do not keep their commitments - in an overall sense they were very far compared to my already lowered expectations. The room and the overall cleanness of the hotel was not good. Tiny breakfast area, given the size of the hotel, there were queues for breakfast, so I never tried it and cannot comment the quality.

NetherlandsThe subway station was under construction right in front of the hotel so we had a lot of noise in the evening and mornings. Not their fault of course. The windows were isolated very well, blocked a lot of sound.
Beautiful boutique hotel next to the gorgeous Wuhou Shrine (cute shops, good food, traditional place). The reception employees were so very kind and helpful planning our trips to Leshan Buddha and Panda base, they were amazing. 10/10.

United KingdomLoved the whole experience, even though so short - we only had 24 hrs transit visa visit, unfortunately.
Absolutely amazingly helpful staff, not just helped to resolve the payments in China issue, but gone over the expectations to make our journey happen. Huge thanks! Just beautiful character building with atmosphere. Across the road Chengdu Wu Hou, which is a brilliantly scenery, especially by the evening with all the lights on.
