The valet and other attendants outside the front door were less friendly nor helpful. The frig is rather noisy, due to its age perhaps. Local TV channels are rather limited.

The WiFi was slow and intermittent initially, but the problem was quickly fixed with the installation of a new router. Excellent service!. The towels are big, thick and soft, better than found in many international brand 5-star hotels. The layout of our room is good, although the bathroom is rather tight.

The location was Superb- 30 mins from Nanjing Road E, Ju'An Temple AND XingTianDi (in different directions of course. On the day of arrival the front desk Manager was very helpful, but subsequent days they changed the shift and thw service became so-so. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. They upgraded their sockets with USB, even their toilets have bidets!

Luxurious hotel situated close to everything. Staff were great and the room was more like a grand apartment with separate lounge bedroom and bathroom facility. Bonus having a washing machine in the room too. Room had everything you need to relax and enjoy the break.

The place is a little old, and the rooms somewhat run-down.

Location was great, very central, easy to get anywhere. The room was clean. The separate bedroom was great as we have a young child, and could put him to bed and then hang out in the living area.

The location is excellent we are able to reach West Nanjing Rd and the popular Starbuck Reserve Roastery by a few minutes walk. And we can easily get to the other spots like East Nanjing Rd or the Bund by metro or taxi. The room is clean and as comfort as we expect. Staffs are helpful. And the hotel surrounding is quiet and nice.

Disappoint with the breakfast, it could be more option and some fresh juice. However, the room service is quiet nice. The front staff not helpful or willing to help, maybe put some smile :)

The location is very convenient. The housekeeping staff is very nice and helpful even we communicate by the body language.

I arrived with luggage with no help at the front door. The breakfast is underwhelming. The staffs seemed stressful just to receive simple egg and coffee order. Just no friendly and helpful in general.

The majority of staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, but unfortunately one manager wasn't which was disappointing. I had been previously assisted for another issue I had which was greatly appreciated, but maybe I wasn't VIP enough for this manager. No literature in the hotel to help with attractions/sites to visit etc.

I added a special request to my booking which was met. The location was good and in walking distance for the centre. The room was perfect and the beds were comfy. It was so nice to receive a hand written card, fruit, fizz & sweets on arrival. My room service lady was lovely and helped me with a few Chinese words and pronunciation, I so wish I had asked her name to give her the recognition.

The interior is a little dated but it gave it some vintage character which was cute in a way. The cushions on the sofa had some smell so some regular washing would be great...or change of covers because the duck feathers were popping out.

Room size was GREAT & clean. Location was AWESOME. Staff were really helpful. Walking distance to many many eateries and Jingan shopping area. Would definitely stay there again.
