SingaporeDespite being newly renovated, there were a few design flaws. Placement of the tap, sink is too small. Shower door could not close at all. The bidet seat was stuck sometime and have to restart the seat.
Owner was super nice and helpful. We were always asking for help and guide. Room was big and recently renovated. Room is very modern with voice command. Toilet is equipped with bidet.

The property locate within the old town but away from the visitor's noise, the staff make you feel like you stay at friend's place. The hotel did often the airport transfer and assist with our request to book private van for touring around Lijiang and Shangri-la. Xiao He also make sure we enjoy our stay, he went out his way to provide the best suggestion for our group while stay in Lijiang. very relax and our family did enjoy our stay very much. thanks.

ChinaWe recently stayed at the Sky Cloud Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, but I must give a special mention to David. From the very beginning, he was exceptionally kind and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Our stay was truly memorable, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

MalaysiaOne of the bed located next to the balcony is facing the singing bar/shop(?) it opens 9pm until midnight or so? It's not that much of a dealbreaker since the singer has a nice voice and they have super duper cute dog but I just thought of highlighting this out. I think it's just our room since our room is at the corner of the hotel.
I am very particular in choosing a place to stay for our travel. One of the owners, Arlin has been very active in communicating with me through email and wechat, answering all of my queries and requests. So that little act of service helped to convince me to book them. They offered a free pick up service from train station and they also has a porter service to help you carry your luggage all the way to your room. Upon arrival, i was super stoke because the hotel is exactly how they advertised in the website. They offered a bit more contemporary design while staying true to the traditional theme. We were greeted warmly with tea and i guess only the owner can converse in english but the workers arent. But despite the lack of english, we made do with translation app. Our room is spacious and clean with no speck of dust, our balcony is facing the old town street and literally you can just go out from the hotel and immediately shop. The hotel also very modern in a sense that they have a control button for their curtain anddd i cannot stress this enough, they HAVE AUTOMATED TOILET WITH THE FREAKING HOLY BIDET AND DYSON HAIRDRYER. Being a Malaysian, having a bidet is a must so to my fellow Malaysian traveller, im vouching for this hotel. Their toilet paper is 4 ply. They also have washer + dryer machine located at the ground floor, free to use, so another plus point there. I washed my clothes everynight, and then hang out with the owner while waiting for my laundry. They offered free breakfast, but seeing we are muslim, he switched the local breakfast with pastries instead. They always prepared free candies, local fruits and tea at the receptionist which i always took whenever i went out. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, it is very near to the main road, the iconic water wheel and dashi bridge. The attentiveness and care they provided for their guests, answering every questions no matter how silly they sounded, has really won it for me. Will come again!

I appreciated the undisturbed rest, yet enjoyed easy access to food, coffee, attractions, and shopping. "Warm Hospitality" The owner and staff members were exceptionally warm, kind, and responsive to my needs. From arranging a private airport transfer to carrying my luggage to my room, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. "Comfortable and Charming Rooms" My Queen Room with Terrace was a serene oasis, complete with a charming outdoor pool and a secluded garden perfect for workouts or relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept more soundly than I have in months! "Amenities and Services" I appreciated the complimentary Chinese Tea Appreciation session, which was a lovely welcome ritual. The staff kept me connected via WeChat, responding promptly to my queries and requests all through my stay. "A Captivating Retreat" Sky Cloud Hotel is a true gem in Lijiang Ancient Town. Hong KongLocating the hotel was complicated as nobody could help us and gps was rather useless. We had to call for assistance because we could not find it. The staff were pleasant but we didn’t get a warm welcome. The office smelled of smoke, tea was on the desk but nobody offered us a cup after all the time wasted trying to locate the hotel. It appeared that other staff entered the hotel and helped themselves to snacks, tea, and other items as we waited, and nobody said hello or offered us anything. We just didn’t feel invited.
The hotel is in a very convenient section of the old city. The room was comfortable and the room spacious.

Toilet has bidet which is rare in Lijiang. Recommended for people who have been searching for it. Location is good but quite noisy due to being in the center. Not recommended for light sleepers and those with children. The staff tried to accommodate us with vegetarian breakfast. They even provided a service to bring your luggage to the hotel as the hotel is located not on the main road. We really appreciate it! The amenities in the room are good also
