Loved the sheets of the bed and the size of it, the only thing is that the matrass was really hard.

The location is nearby the East gate of the National Park. The staff is amazing and helps you with your travel plans. The room was a very nice size and we loved the bathroom. The shower was amazing and the bath heated our cold bodies after a long day in the park.

Hotel may be a bit expensive for the area. Wulingyuan village is a 22 mile taxi ride from the nearest train station, driver couldn't find the hotel as it sits on the river, not on a street (and then tried to overcharge us by a lot).

A luxury stay compared to other hostel level hotels in the village (actually large town). Huge culturally designed rooms, good location on the river with lots of retail around. Walking distance (mile?) to Zhangjiajie park entrance. Desk manager laid out a great one-day self guided tour of the park, very helpful.

Nothing we really enjoyed and appreciated everything here

We really enjoyed ourselves staying here. The staff were so lovely and helpful with everything. The young man in the afternoon was great help explaining how to spend our days and get around the parks, his English was good. We had a driver each day, he was lovely. He would take us wherever we wanted in the day and he would make sure we got into places ok. He really looked after us. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, felt like home cooking. LOVED the coffee. Our room was a great size, good size bathroom. Location was perfect, walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the national park. Didn’t want to leave

Perfect mix of traditional and modern The landlord is friendly and welcoming,he helped us a lot to range the trip , to book the tickets. Breakfast was great 👍🏻 only 15 mins by walking to the national park Restaurants close by taste good

We liked a lot the location, but mainly the staff was very helpful. In the reception , Qiao Zhao helped us a lot to understand how to enjoy the city the most, arranged us transport, tickets, and a lot of other stuffs on our trip. Good facilities in the bedroom with amazing bathroom. We had an amazing time in the hotel.

We appreciated all the extra (and much needed) information regarding our activities in Zhangjiajie national park and Tianmen mountain. Additionally, loved the diverse home-made breakfest with local and western food options.

This beautiful hotel in center of the city is very authentic. The room had a balcony with the river view and Mountain view. Also a big jacuzzi. The staff is very helpfull. We had a great experience. Night market and restaurants all in the neigboarhood..

Nice and beautiful decorated hotel in Zhangjiajie typical housing architecture. We had a nice evening around a tea tasting with the owner which shared a lot of insights about local culture and history. Thank you again for this. Very nice breakfast in the morning where you could choose what you like.to have cooked for you. Confortable beds and big room. Location is convenient to get to the park ( east gate 15 min walk or 5 min by taxi)

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They booked our tickets to the parks in advance and reserved a guide and car for us. They also made recommendations on how to best plan our two days in the area. Hadn’t not been for them, we would have missed visiting amazing places they recommended.

Everything. The responsiveness of the staff to questions pre-arrival and the booking of all our tours for the full stay of four nights was exceptional. They were super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of town close to the river. It is of a rustic/traditional design which we loved. Rooms were clean, had balconies and no issues with water pressure etc in the shower. It was my birthday while we stayed and the staff surprised me with a dinner of ‘longevity’ noodles and a birthday cake. Very touched because the warmth was genuine. They really want you to have a great stay.

The hotel is good and comfortable. Room is big, shower and toilet are best in class with a lot of space. Breakfast is amazing - you choose what you want the night before and they make it for you when you wake up. The staff is also wonderful, super friendly and super helpful. They treat you just like family and help you with information and they offer a super nice driver to drive you around if you want to. Location is great - 10 min walking from the park entrance. Highly recommend. I went with my partner (gay couple) and we felt very welcomed.

I slept very well here. All very clean! I loved the tea but the coffee was undrinkable but Mei Mei took me to Cow Cafe where I got my dose of proper coffee.

This hotel has a premium position on the river very close to the national park entrance. The owner has carefully designed a superb Chinese inn using traditional materials and is hugely knowledgable on Chinese heritage. He and his two sisters make a superb team. Wuliyuan I thought was a better place to stay than the city of Zhangjiajie. The service was good. They collected me from the airport and I returned by high speed train. All so easy.

It was a beautiful room and well kept. Including the owner, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Communicating with a phone translation app worked very well with all the staff. Breakfast was to my taste and always prepared freshly when I came to eat. Lee's Boutique Resort shows a very good example.
