Amazing staff , which helped us to organize activities. Great location, right at the entrance to Beofeng lake - beautiful area, which could be seen in 2 hours including the boat ride. We did it in between other activities. Good breakfast. Free washer and dryer available on the top floor, which is very convenient.

Stain on the sofa (room 8503). No wardrobe in room even though there would be plenty of space. Lights in bathroom can not be turned on (also reception was not able to resolve problem). One driver drives way too fast and dangerous.

Free transfer from train station and free transfers to East Gate of national park. Very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean and modern building. Ticket booking for attractions & sightseeing done by staff with lots of tips. Free washing machines (more than 1 tumble dryer would be helpful)

Unfortunately, the noise insulation isn't great, and I were waking up every time when a neighbor was taking a shower at 6am, or when the staff were talking loud in the corridor, that was annoying.

A nicely located hotel with very kind staff. We really appreciate all their efforts to make our stay more pleasant. The facilities, bath tube in the room, a big terrace, unlimited bottles of water — all of these were great! Especially, we're grateful to staff for helping and organizing our visits to the national parks and other attractions in the region.

From the moment we booked, our experience with this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The service was truly outstanding, and the rooms were both beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Before we even arrived, Lily reached out to us to help plan our trip. She went above and beyond by booking our tickets to the national park and offering guidance on how to make the most of our time. Her attention to detail and care made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The rooms were amazing—modern smart rooms where everything from the lights to the curtains could be controlled at the touch of a button. They were spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfy—easily the nicest we've stayed in during our time in China. The hotel also provides transfers to the East Gate of the national park. Before setting off, the staff talked us through the route and gave us helpful tips, which made the visit smooth and stress-free. When it came time to leave, the service reached a whole new level. Lily and another gentleman (whose name we sadly didn’t catch) helped us meticulously plan our last day. They arranged a transfer to Tianmen Mountain, coordinated a pickup from the park to take us to the 72 Wonders, and then personally came to collect us—with all our luggage—and took us straight to the airport. To top it all off, they even brought us snacks for the journey. It was an absolutely phenomenal level of care and service. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. The transfers were all in top-of-the-line cars, driven safely and professionally. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we've stayed at in China. We can't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing staff who gave us great recommendations on the attractions to visit. We had a very smooth stay and tours thanks to them. Very attentive and responsive ! The room was beautiful, very well furnished and very clean! Breakfast was good with mainly Chinese options.

Very modern room, decorated with great taste and modern appliances (what a toilet seat ! ;-). The location is pretty good, near a lot,of restaurants and not far from the main National Park with a free shuttle to get there. A private transport to the unmissable Tianmen Mountain or Glass bridge is about 40mn each way and around 100 yuans. The staff is quite helpful and do their best to make your stay as good as possible. They helped me a lot with the bookings for the various parks, and gave some very precious explanation (especially one girl, I missed her name, with a pretty decent English) as it would have been a bit difficult to navigate the parks without a previous briefing. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is next to Boafeng lake and close to the national park. The hotel offered us a free shuttle for our visot to the park and airpoet. They were very proactive in helping us plan our trip by making suggestions and helping us with the tickets. The staff was so helpful it was amazing!

The room was spacious, the location of the hotel was ideal. Midi and the staff at Utopia hotel were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed every moment we stayed at the hotel.

The breakfast was just about average. Also, the hotel inside (but not our room) was constantly very cold.

The hotel seemed brand new, the facilities were good and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were happy to help whenever we needed some assistance and the hotel arranged to pick us up from the train station for free.

Hard to find any negatives, can only say the location isn't in the downtown area where all the late-night food and shopping is, however only a short 20-minute walk to get there.

The breakfast was amazing, they even offer in house hot noodle soup to make for you as part of breakfast. The room was quite large and very clean and tidy, we loved the free fruit each day they set out for us as well as Xiaodu Xiaodu, which is like an automated robot to control lights, curtains and other room functions. Lily was amazing as she helped us organize all of our tours and took care of all the bookings we needed, helped make this leg of our journey stress free.

The people at reception were super kind and helpful. Lily spoke very good English and make communication very easy. They helped me plan my time in Zhangjiajie. They also provided free drop to nearby locations.
