Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I felt that the kitchen could have been cleaned a little better. The counters were rather dirty and we had to re-clean them as they were a little sticky.
The Room was HUGE! Absolutely perfect for a family. 2 HUGE bedrooms, and a living room. The kids loved it! It was also nice to have laundry facilities in the room so we could clean a few items.

Can be loud during night times as neighbouring rooms like to stay up late.
Breakfast room got a bit too crowded at certain times so there was no place available. Better to go there earlier.

Breakfast hall is way too small. Had to wait 5 from 5 days. Breakfast buffet should be better presented organized and managed

Wonderful place, my family and I loved it. The location was good and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was amazing and they had a nice pool that we used a few times. Would love to book this place in the future.

We booked a 3-bedroom premier. The interior feels a little dark and feels like it's been awhile since someone stays in that room. There is only 1 hairdryer even though it's a 3-bedroom premier. But luckily, they were able to provide us with another 2 more hair dryer upon request.

Location. You need to take a cab or didi to the shopping areas. Walking is not recommended.
The room view was fantastic. Breakfast was considered better than many other hotels in China. The size of the 2BR apartment was also impressive. It's a pleasant stay.

breakfast is acceptable but can be improved, which had limited choice.
Clean and spacious. Super comfortable bed and feel like home. Well equipped with everything you need. Easy to grab a taxi. Beautiful views in front of the hotel. This hotel will be my first choice if ever I visit Chongqing again in the future.

Feel like home,clean and large room with well equipped of kitchen, living room. Very suitable for family. Location a bit far from shopping area but can reach in a minutes with taxi. Love this hotel and would recommend to the family. Breakfast is good with varieties of food.

We had 2 bedrooms apt- it’s spacious. There is good size living room. The rooms r spacious. There is wash dryer as well. Totally recommend this place.

Rooms are very large, nice view to the river. Need to take Taxi as the city is very large and a little difficult to navigate you can easily get lost however you should be able to get a taxi easily within 1 or 2 minutes . Best if you download the ap DIDI Some staff spoke good English. Breakfast was good had a lot of choices, staff are all very friendly and helpful

My room came with breakfast and first off, the air con doesn’t keep the restaurant cool enough. Food is so so tho the local dishes are quite good. Also drinks are not replenished towards the last half hour of breakfast.
Huge room, well equipped. Quiet, very pleasant to be in a big city yet having such a serene surrounding. Well maintained, clean. Also buses running outside the property are convenient.

walking distance to Shibati - an ancient and steep stairway in the old city of Chongqing. Very interesting town, You must. It can take you half a day in this town as there are many stairways. Walking distance to the little village called White elephant, about 20 minutes. Opposite the hotel is the Yangtze River. Beautiful views. Service is good. Food - ok. No complain. They can book car to airport for you.
