Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeWe were worried about the convenience of the commute to the central area, but it turned out our worries were unfounded. The hotel is just above raffles city mall with a metro station within the mall. Lily at the front desk is very helpful. She assisted us with the changes we needed to our hotel booking. She also assisted in arranging for a one day tour to Wulong with pick up from the hotel. The entire stay was very comfortable. The room we had is very spacious and clean. Will definitely recommend this stay if you are visiting Chongqing.

SingaporeJust a note, the location for Didi pick ups might be incorrect - Didi has it being at the end of the driveway, so Didis tend to drive past the hotel lobby and wait there instead.
Hotel is well located in the Raffles City complex. Rooms are modern and clean, and room cleaning was of a high standard. Service is excellent and very helpful, from the doormen, to housekeeping and front desk. Internet was fast and stable, water pressure in the showers was good and rooms were bright.

SingaporeNil. It was perfect!
We were given a free upgrade to a suite which provides washer and dryer and a fully functional kitchen complete with a dishwasher. ❤️❤️❤️ There is a good sized gym with clean and well maintained equipment. Loved it that the accommodation provided options of not cleaning the rooms everyday so that we can contribute to save the environment.

SingaporeBreakfast spread can be improved.
It’s connected to the Raffles City mall which is very convenient. Can walk to nearby attraction Hong Ya Dong. Friendly staff who are readily available to assist and made us feel very welcomed. Special thanks to Jack Chen who assisted us at the lobby area while we were waiting for pick up to airport.

SingaporeLocked windows. It got slightly stuffy and staff had to manually unlock it for me.
Real Perks of it being right beside a shopping mall cum access to train station. Room is well appointed too. Staff are very helpful with tips and helped me with various bookings from cruise tickets to taxi.

SwitzerlandI have nothing to complain. I don't know what should or could be better.
I stayed for 4 nights and got and upgrade to a suite with two bed rooms and two baths - quite to big for me alone. Anyhow - Really appreciated that and the friendliness at the reception. The check-in worked fast and staff is very nice and supportive. The room at the 33th floor was big as said before, and there was view at the river side, but not too much as the other towers partially block the view. Also nothing to complain about, even if there might be rooms with better views. The room was modern and clean and got a small kitchen and washing facilities which came quite handy for long-term travelers like me. There is also a coffee machine. The breakfast was included and offers all choices from continental to local fresh made noodle soups, I liked that very much. There is also a late supper offered. The location at Raffles City is central for sure and it is not far to see major attractions and the crowd and especially the living blocks with their crazy architecture (for which I mainly came for). The nearby metro station is very nice to go even farer away like visiting the Liziba station or the Great Hall of the People. And when you step out, you can get a first great view from the outside panorama terrace over the river and the buildings all around. More impressions on my website: www.wakinglife.ch
