It’s a hostal. It is what it is. So far as hostels go, it’s an 11 on a scale of 10.

This was my 8th or 9th or 10th time as a guest when traveling through Bogota. Nice hostel. Safe, clean, comfortable— good kitchens, too. Convenient for the airport traveler. What makes it outstanding, excellent? THE STAFF. They are all very good. I’ve arrived tired and grumpy, and I’ve arrived smiling and happy. Doesn’t matter— they’re always friendly, efficient, professional. Highly recommend Bababuy.

So noisy - the guests were making loud noises all night. laughing and talking loudly to each other. No indication that the staff were telling them to be quiet. Toilet paper ran out in one bathroom. Another had a door that didn’t close because a power cord ran through the doorway!

The staff was great as was the location but everything else not so much. Should be half that price honestly. The bed was made from wood pallets and not to look arty not even sanded. So extremely low to the ground. The breakfasts was very basic but fine. The drinking water was from the tap and tasted bad. Very run down place.

Better outlet access in dorm rooms (not every bad has direct or easy access to outlets). The internet occasionally dropped.

Clean, nice-looking area with everything you would need for a short stay (e.g., drinking water, coffee, wi-fi, 24 hour reception, aesthetic common spaces) for a VERY good price. Very good for people with long layovers in Bogotá. I'll definitely stop by in the future.

The ceilings are very low. So if you have the top bunk bed, game over. There was no water during my stay so I couldn't flush the toilet, brush my teeth, or even take a shower. Very disappointed when I requested a partial refund for this inconvenience but was declined.

Very good vibes and beautifully decorated hostel, very comfortable and also I liked the small "hidden" rooms to work or hang out in more private space. Recommending and would stay again :-)

I had reservations for a female only room upon arrival they put me in a room with a man. I explained that it’s against my religion to sleep in a room with a man and I can not the host said that they had booked all the girls room as they are first come first serve which didn’t make any sense to have a reservation hence it was midnight and I had to find other accommodations. However the room walls were dirty the bed didn’t look inviting and tons of stairs to climb with no help with luggage I definitely don’t recommend this hostel

The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hostel is clean and comfortable. I have stayed at this property 6 times and it is a great value and very convenient when traveling through Bogota.

it’s great if you need to stay near the airport but good luck sleeping with the sound of the busy street and also the airport
