It’s not social, that’s the only downfall.

I loved to stay at the dorm! It’s a bit more pricey than other hostels but it’s part of a very chic boutique hotel, the staff was always super friendly, breakfast was a lot and super tasty. The beds and the bathroom were spacious, they have a very nice workout area and yoga in the morning. I just loved to hang around and watch the animals in the trees. Very calm and relaxing overall.

Like most places in Palomino, just make sure you are aware there is no aircon in the room just the fan. Which works fine but just as an FYI as it’s not the same

Loved everything about our stay. We unfortunately didn’t get one of the bungalows but the rooms were also so nice and we were very happy with our room. Staff were so lovely and we even spent New Year’s Eve dinner there which was great! The outdoor gym was a bonus and we definitely made use of that. It’s only a few mins walk to the beach front. I can only highly recommend coming here!

The cabin was located at the entrance, where lights remain on all night. The location of the bed in front of the windows, and white curtains in the room made too much light to come in to sleep well.

The hotel is well located, close to the beach but far enough to not be bothered by the loud party music of the town. The breakfast was also really good and staff were very friendly.

Nothing to complain about. The hotel has no private beach, but you have your own small garden at the cabaña which is really only a few steps away from the sea.

A wonderful, pieceful and quiet place. Super friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Great activities for reasonable prices (we did Yoga and massage). We booked one of the Cabañas outside of the hotel closer to the beach. They are awesome and highly recommended - spacious, private, clean, well equipped, very close to the beach and a beautiful open bathroom. You get a 10 % discount on lunch and dinner at la ola, an external beach bar/restaurant with friendly staff and good food/drinks (but only until 7/8 pm). There are also plenty of good restaurants around. We would definitely come here again.

The staff, the food, the vibe is really pleasant at Casa Chapolin. The accommodation is really spacious and the rooms are beautiful. Would recommend anyone to stay here :)

I didn’t get fresh towels replaced despite leaving them on the floor as a sign of needed change, instead they placed the dirty white one on top of the sink for me to use again…. That kind of turn me off but after expressing my concern I got fresh ones. Also, would of been nice if the main door or the windows had a built in mesh so you could get some fresh air into the room without worrying about insects/ flies coming in.

Loved my cabin close to the sea, was nice jumping to the ocean first thing in the morning :)

The location of the guesthouse was really good (200m to the sea). The breakfast was the best we had on our 3 weeks trip. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms charming. Besides that, all in all a relaxing guesthouse with lots of hammocks etc.

We booked the suite for our two week stay and it was amazing. It‘s spacious and very beautiful. The breakfast is super delicious, the staff very kind and Jaro the dog adorable. The food at the beach restaurant La Ola was very good as well. We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Chapolin!

The Felix bungalow we stayed first night did not have windows. That was surprising.

We loved everything! Friendly stuff, beautiful place, free water & coffee all the time, very good breakfast, friendly cat :) We had one of those big rooms upstairs and it’s amazing! We loved it and would love to be back one day !

I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that Casa Chapolin doesn't have beach access. The restaurant located in front of the beach is a good spot to watch the sunset, but the beach itself is not what I had hoped to find - huge concrete blocks buried in sand to protect the shore from strong waves. You cannot swim there nor can you walk along the coast. You need to go back towards the main road and back up to reach a piece of beach from where you can walk west for another 10-15mins to reach a nice beach.

I really liked the bungalow I stayed in - spacious, nicely decorated and authentic. Breakfast options were really good, you can't get bored as is sometimes the case with other hotels.

A lot of mosquitos at night in the bungalow even though there is a mosquito net over the bed but not the hotels fault.

Very cozy place. Almost directly at the beach with a beautiful garden and some gym equipment. The breakfast was incredible. Main Street is a 15 min walk away
