We don't know why, but the surroundings of the hostel always had a bad smell (not the hostel itself, the hostel is clean), which might be due to the horse or livestock raising. Anyway, we suffered from this terrible smell but had to stand it during our stay there.

The hostel has two very lovely huge dogs. Everybody loves to play with them for a while every day. There's spacious common area where free coffee is offered. It's a bit far from the center (though Salento is a small town).

The walking distance from the hotel to the Main Plaza was perfect. Not too close to being bothered by the tourist and not too long of a walk. It is a safe place to move around. The locals are Salento"s main asset. This hotel will add beautifully to your travel experience.

This is just such a beautiful plot of land to have a hostel on. Views, wildlife and the swing! Highly recommended.

Gorgeous setting in Salento. Really chill place with really friendly staff. Activities every day which are great to meet people. Tasty breakfast & comfy beds. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in in Colombia!

Bathroom water pressure and temperature was not always consistent, but it worked fine for the most part!

Staff was very friendly and helpful for providing services and local recommendations! Meals at the hostel felt homemade, which was refreshing after eating out at restaurants all the time. The outdoor swing and hammock area is super beautiful and peaceful - grab a book and enjoy the view :)

Only reason it's a 9 instead of a 10 is that there was a power outage for multiple hours and no one really seemed to care about.

Hot shower, nice view from balcony, short walk from centre, which makes it more quiet during the night. I also liked the shared area.

The beds are a bit outdated with little privacy. The hostel doesn't have that many outlets either; The laundry service and breakfasts were slightly overpriced. The staff doesn't organize any activities as the ad says. The hostel is also a bit far from the central place.

The rooms are comfortable and aerated, the bathrooms are remarkably clean, spacious and numerous which makes for a really comfortable stay. The breakfast was good and the view absolutely stunning. The many common spaces are great too!

Dorm beds weren't amazing but did the job, however wouldn't suit people over 180cm-185cm.

Chilled out hostel with a good social atmosphere. Very easy to meet people as there's a solid rotation of activities throughout the week. Some paid, some free depending on activity. Wifi was strong and consistent, the staff were very nice, the rooms (personally stayed in a 6 bed dorm) were clean and spacious enough. Warm water was available for showers at all times. Beds have curtains which allowed for privacy when needed. Location was an easy 5-10 min walk to the central plaza and 15 min walk from the bus station. Views from the hostel balcony were lovely.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Chilled, but friendly atmosphere within the hostel. Quiet from 10pm which is good as a lot of the activities like Cocora are advised to start early.

rooms were not ventilated well so became very smelly especially with people’s damp clothes and shoes from hiking. could do with either a drying room for boots and coats or air fresheners and circulation in the rooms
