There was a bit of miscommunication about hiring boots, I reserved some the day before but then was told they weren’t cleaned in time which meant I didn’t end up with any for the Cocora Hike. Luckily I had another option but I did feel like the staff were a little rude. Tip- You can get more from your money with the packed lunch from Brunch in Salento in town.

Location was great, amazing views of the mountains. Dorm room had comfy beds with duvet and hot showers. Breakfast was great, healthy with a few options and the bread is incredible. The staff were friendly and on arrival give you a leaflet on what to do in the area and about transport. There is welly boot hire. There is carrot cake which is delicious! It’s a busy hostel but quiet at night and everyone is up early. There is filtered water on tap too.

The small lockers underneath the bed-bunks, they are not very practical. An other thing which perhaps could be solved is the lack of a solid rack to hold onto when climbing down from the top bed.

The hostel had lots of different areas to hang out which was very nice and the rooms get cleaned every day. I loved the dogs.

it’s clean, staff is friendly and always willing to help. the tour informations were accurate. they pack a lunch pack for the hiking which costs only 15 pesos.

the staff takes a lot of time at the beginning to explain where to go and give you tips, the house is very beautiful and the beds big with curtains for privacy, the garden/terrace is beautiful, the dogs are HUGE!

Not the most sound proof but after 10pm is quiet time so was manageable.

Great hostel with friendly staff, very helpful and great location. They helped out with booking taxis and tours. Super fast Wi-Fi, delicious pancakes for breakfast. lovely view from hostel Big bonus are the two fabulous St Bernard dogs :)

it was very calm and comfortable. maybe I would like to have more opportunities to meet people, but the hostel don’t encourage you to do it. anyway, I loved.

The hostel itself is quite calm. However, if you have a room to the street you might wake up very early due to roosters noises as well as dog noises. So bring some noise cancellation ear plugs.

Breakfast was an extra cost and quite basic. WiFi was very intermittent (good speeds when it was working though).

Nice open hostel, two cute st bernard dogs (one friendly, the other not). Tasty breakfast, helpful and friendly staff (recommended a place to fix my walking shoes).
