Absolute bare minimum in the private rooms. Barely running water. Barely working wifi. Barely any lighting at night. No drinking water or shampoo to use. No closets whatsoever.

Good location and view in the common area. Breakfast was also nice.

Dorms are disgusting Bathrooms in the dorms are disgusting. Not even remotely worth staying at because of this. Kitchen looked gross also. Don’t let the nice view and nice outdoor area fool you.

I am a solo traveler I stayed in a female dorm of 6 beds and it was very small and tight on space. The bed was very hard and after my 3 night stay my back and neck started to hurt. The environment of the hostel was off I didn’t connect with anyone and unfortunately spent most of my time alone I don’t recommend to stay here if you are looking to find people to hang out it as a solo traveler it was hard to find other people to have a conversation with everyone was either working or kept to themselves in small groups. Thus I did not find the environment to be very friendly or warm. Restaurant is very basic. I would pass and find a local restaurant to eat at.

The property has an incredible view of nature the landscape is breath taking. It’s clean , kitchen is fully equipped and the common outdoor areas are very nice. The location is great about a 6 minute walk to the town center and far enough from the busy street so it’s quiet at night. The staff is helpful as I asked for a few recommendations and they provided with great suggestions!

The bunks were not very practical- if you’re on the top bunk and the person below you had their light on it shines up in to your bunk through the sides where your items can also easily fall through. They supply you with one very thin pillow and a very thin sheet as well which would be fine except it gets very cold at night.

Great location, friendly staff, many activities organized. Beautiful property with a nice bar and kitchen that had very reasonable prices. Great place for solo travelers that want to socialize and meet others.

The price value ratio is not fantastic: it’s nice, but it is too expensive for what it is. The double room really looked nicer on the pictures than in reality unfortunately.. Music can be loud and monotonous

The window was on the road so we couldn’t leave it open (by window I mean shutters, there was no actual glass) The bathroom was straight out of the 50s and had no warm water at all. The bed was hard as rock. The food was mediocre at best.

Bar music from early in the morning. Excursions propose by the hostel expensive and not very “unique” Nothing to hang out clothes or jackets.

Views from the rooms and bar are amazing to thé mountains. Beds are comfy and they have hot shower, not very stable but it’s okay for our needs. Super Nice network if you want to do activités outside the hostel or inside and meet people.

My reservation was incl. Breakfast, but with checking in, they told me I have to pay 18.000 (€5) per breakfast… Also I really enjoyed the bar, but in the bedroom, you can hear the music very loud. I also saw the cleaning lady did not change the sheets after my roommates checked out.

We found hair in the bathroom drain upon arrival.

The facilities were nice, and the location was phenomenal. The view from the terrace was incredible, and I appreciated being very close to the main square while still enjoying relative peace and quiet at night. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. I also used the laundry service for an additional cost.

IT WAS SO NOISY! gosh, all day long there were construction noises, in the night in the hotel there are parties until 10 pm, so if you count on sleeping and having rest - be ready to don't get it. In the room there was amazingly strong smell of the bathroom, not sure if it's only about moist climate. The view is spectacular and the room is nice but way too expensive for the quality there is.

After having a great time in Viajero Medellín we decided to book three nights in Salento and that was huge mistake. The private room we’ve got was next to the kitchen and dining/common area. The walls were so thin that we felt like people were with us in the same room from early morning 6am till late night. Room was filthy, dirty shower full of hair, dead bugs on the floor, stains on the bedsheet, very cold and without any window. French toast for breakfast was served with a bug and hair. We only stayed one night. We didn’t get any refund for the two other nights.

The rooms were not cosy at all. There was a huge gap in between the bed and the walls, meaning my belongings fell out of the bed many times and also, you could see down into the bed below you - so it's not very private. The bathroom to share between 8 people was dirty and I had to ask for the soap to be refilled and the bin to be changed (overflowing dirty toilet paper built up over the days, grim!)

The gardens and communal areas are really green and pretty. There's a nice little bar to socialise and there's lots going on there (karaoke nights etc), meaning its easy to meet fellow travellers. The hostel has a really cute cat called Manchas. It's on a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the main square.

It’s Party hostel, it’s totally not like in pictures- Joga, meditation, lern Spanish- from evening till late night so laut music. If you looking for a party hostel in Salerno - it’s for you, I was looking for something different.
