The staff were so enthusiastic and kind, I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. We came to this hostel because we were struggling to find people and events during the festive season and this place handed it to us on a silver plater. The breakfasts were fantastic quality and left me feeling well prepared throughout the day. Never felt without support or without something to do or someone to do it with whilst staying here.

BoliviaAccoustic in the hostel makes you hear people talking 15/20 meters away even with the door closed. Probably a door between common spaces and the hallways will work. Kitchen in common places can improve.
The best part of Viajero Hostel in San Andres is their staff... Juliana is a great tour guide and you get first hand information of the activities in the Island... Always in a good mood.. Even when we were in other cities asking for advice...Amazing Norelis was always checking for our food alergies and our first smile of the day was from her while she asked how we wanted our eggs for breakfast. Reception was very kind all the time.. Ximena and Kelita are very prefessional and gave us the best post checkout service. (First time in my travels I have such helpful people) Loved the space to take a shower after checkout... Thats really good!!

Comfy beds. Nice staff. Strong AC (when on). Good kitchen. No pets inside, so great for people with allergies. 24 hour reception is helpful with flight times and coordinating taxis. Privacy curtains and light at each bed. WhatsApp group for events at the hostel and finding people to explore with.

United StatesI struggled with the heat sometimes, so having a small fan available to put in the room or even a tiny personal fan would have helped a lot. The AC was great, but sometimes I could have used just a little boost. Same in the room where they hold events/breakfast, if there were a couple oscillating fans in the space, it would have been a bit more comfortable. Some mornings, the windows were closed with the ceiling fans off, and I was roasting lol. Not complaining, since the weather is a big reason we visited! Just struggled to adjust to the heat a couple times.
Loved the sense of community the staff create among fellow travelers. This made the trip more fun and social. Excellent value for the price, and good location. Had a nice private room to share with my partner and also had access to social activities and opportunities to make friends. The access they provide not just to hold your luggage after checkout but the fact that they provide access to showers when you pick up your bags was incredible! This allowed us to do a full-day beach tour on the day we checked out, grab our bags, take a quick shower, and fly out in the evening--essentially adding a full day to our trip. I'm really grateful for this service.
