Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe only thing I will say is if you’re a foreigner, bring your own water. Even though they say it’s potable, my partner got sick after drinking it. Everything else was perfect 👍
A beautiful place to stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, nice meals, good tours available, loved the wildlife. We needed wifi for an unexpected meeting and Carlos went above and beyond to make sure it was working for us. Thank you!

Beautiful lodge in close proximity to Puerto Nariño. We loved everything about this place, clean rooms, beautiful grounds, big clean pool (which was a lifesaver after long hike in selva). Carlos and his team were doing excellent job to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He organized our trips according to our expectations (we were focused on seeing as many pink dolphins as possible). You can have meals at the lodge or take a boat to Puerto Nariño (5 minutes ride) and enjoy meal there. You can also take a short 20 mins hike (can be a little muddy) to the town. From the view tower you can observe birds which frequent the area. There is even wifi available, not great, but you are in the Amazon.

LOCATION! Peaceful setting in wilderness on the water yet with easy access to town by foot or boat. Good breakfast and well prepared lunch/dinner always available. Carlos provides a solid program of daily activities at very fair prices and always available to help with any thing. Although i did not seek pool (kept quite clean) it is a perfect cool down after activities in the heat and humidity.

United StatesEware was the highlight of our trip to the Amazon. It is a very special place and lovingly cared for. The staff is incredible, accommodating and very friendly. There is so much to do in the area and the owners were generous and gave good guidance and support to help their guests find activities they were interested in. This is the Amazon, so bring mosquito repellent and a poncho!

United KingdomNothing that was not due to the location we were in i.e. Jungle :-)
Lovely location, basic rooms/facilities but sufficient for a few days stay. Great swimming pool that helped with the heat. Breakfast was lovely and we paid extra for dinner and evening meals, all prices were very cheap. They offered lots of tours although our Spanish is not good enough to take advantage of them. They currently have a Manatee in their lake rehabilitating and will be released back into the Amazon in June :-) The town is accessible by boat or 30 minute walk in Wellies

GermanyIt's been wonderful, staying in the Amazon jungle with Carlos, his wife, and all the kind locals. I am very touched and grateful for the accessible authentic experiences in the wilderness and with open-hearted indigenous people. I've done quite a few excursions, easily and flexibly set up with Carlos and Dani, all amazing and fully recommended, and did also walk to a communty by myself, as well as kajaked across the peaceful lake. I will surely come back.

Czech RepublicAmazing place, calm and relaxing with unbelievably great hosts. Great place to enjoy Amazonas and trip around. Traditional breakfast with chocolate scrambled eggs and fruits and coffee. They provide quite a range of activities including a trip to local indigenous community, rainforest, lakes Tatapoto etc. No problem to get a ride to the village or a 20-30 min walk.

Zoraida , Carlos and family were very friendly and helpful. They organised our trips with professionalism. The food was delicious and they cooked the fish we caught. Great to cool off in the pool after hot day trips. Puerto Narino is a short walk away but they are always there to take you back and forth by boat. The views are amazing and the wildlife is out of this world !! An incredible experience. We feel it holds a place in our hearts .

GuatemalaThe hotel offers a range of tours and most people likely visit to take part in some of them. However the overall organization could be improved. On the first day I took part in one tour which was very cool (seeing slothes), but then on the next day, all toursists were offered the exact same tour again so I had to privately organize a tour. Also the tours started relatively late, so it was already quite hot, despite many tourists asking for an earlier start. Lastly, my private tour with Jose felt as if he was simply checking off all the activities and he rushed through the entire tour. So there is definitely some room for improvement, especially towards people traveling alone.
The lodge is simply beautiful, with lots of birds flying around, a huge garden, huge pool, private look-out tower to observe the scenery and an overall very cool build out of wood. Carlos and the rest of their family are very friendly and even offered a shuttle to the main town from time to time. The food is good and at a fair price (similar to town).

CanadaWe stayed 5 nights. Carlos is very attentive and tried his best to make our trip perfect. Carlos’ mother cooked best food in Colombia. We love every dish his mother cooked. The excursions arranged by Carlos worth the money. We did kayaking, sloth watching, monkey watching and Lagoon tour. The price is reasonable and we saw many Amazonia animals and plants we never seen before. Amazon tour is the best part of our Colombia trip.

GermanyWe didn't like that one day a school group came to the pool (it was loud and not very hyginical in our sense when you see them bathing in the river before) Don't drink the water they offer you - after I had stomach problems it turned out to be rain water (furthermore I am not quite sure how (often) they clean the tank) - they don't know that Western people cannot drink that! One guide was very flirty!
The staff was so nice. The food was delicious and we got everyday something different. The location is stunning. The pool refreshing. Rooms are old-fashioned but it suits the jungle-style. The many private tours for less money into the surroundings.
