Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only thing was that the bunkbeds were a bit rickety. The whole thing moved when I coughed or rolled over!
Awesome staff and very clean place. I arrived late but Sebastian arranged the tour for me the next day, with a discount as I wanted to sleep in the desert rather than come back to town; the guide, Isabel, was amazing. The breakfast staff made a special effort to make me a vegan breakfast too.

Germanyvery hot, fan helped though. rain came through the roof but only in common area. Bit far from everything but if you‘re just there for the desert it works out just fine!
nice room for good price, clean rooms, good breakfast. Friendly staff, did let us check in really late which was very helpful. bit hard to find as the taxi driver kept saying that it actually is a different address? not sure how true or not that is though.

Irelandthe showers were a bit too cold, but this isn’t really an issue as it is very warm there.
very good and safe location in neiva, near the airport and nearer the tatacoa desert. cheap hostel with great services. air conditioning was great and bed was clean and comfortable. breakfast was nice. most people go here for the desert tour, so if you arrive during the day it is very quiet, not a problem again but something to note for travellers. as a solo traveller knowing this, I was okay but if you didn’t have this mindset you might be a bit taken aback. I did however reallllyyyy enjoy this hostel and it is definitely the best one with access to the desert. thanks to l the staff as well who were extremely helpful and nice

The staff is super friendly they are happy to help anytime. I was in a private room, it was spacious and comfortable, I had a ventilator a big locker room and a tv. It's less than 10 minutes away from the airport. The tatacoa Desert tour was a great experience and very good price with a very nice guide. The included breakfast ist enough and fresh made.

SwedenThey also offer a tour for 160 000 that have the potential to be very good, but it was shit. The worst tour I ever been on because of the guide and the schedule not being followed. Our guide didn’t even introduce himself, he didn’t ask for our names. He couldn’t formulate himself in English, so didn’t give us any details or information about the dessert or its history. As I know Spanish he asked me to be the translator for the group. He didn’t have the number to the chauffeur so it was loads of time we needed to walk or wait extra. Also the driver and guide never agreed and said diffrent times on everything. Just felt so unserious and unprofessional. Our guide fell asleep for 45 minutes at the restaurant after lunch and we had to wake him up and after that he was so stressed in the dessert and demanded us to walk faster so we didn’t have the time to watch as much we wanted to. Also he was so bad at directions and didn’t follow the route so we got lost in the dessert and found our way back just in time before it got dark. But it could be very dangerous if we would be there in the darkness. For the guides best if he wants to continue as a guide in the future he should have some super advisor looking over him, because this was the worst tour guide I ever experienced in my whole life. Could be worth 160 000, but was definitely not felt like fooled with my money.
The reception is open 24/7 which is good The accommodation is fine to stay in only for a short while if you’re going to the dessert. The rooms are nice, spacious, comfy beds and have air conditioners. Anyway it’s weird the kitchen tables are between the toilets and in the middle of where everyone’s going.

United KingdomUnsure there are enough bathrooms for everyone staying, I always seemed to be waiting. Rooms aren't fully closed, there is a gap at the top (was glad I had earplugs) so noise and bugs come in easily. Fan only.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The room was adequate.

GermanyThe tatacoa desert tour was amazing! But the hostel itself is mediocre. It's not clean, staff speaks only Spanish and the guy working at the reception at night is very dishonest and stealthy as he wanted to sell me a bottle of water at night for 13000 cop (for reference, it costs three times the price at the airport). There's nothing around the area but it's very close to the airport.
The tatacoa desert tour!
