Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanySee above Too „relaxed“ for me No vibe (confirmed by other female travellers there)
Nothing besides the proximity to the airport and the view from the roof - not there was any nice place to sit or be. - I actually liked the neighbourhood, but I had spend time in Bogotá before where I had stayed in the more interesting parts. I had an early flight the next day, didn’t even. Red the shower. All was real real small and lots of stairs The hotel is narrow and small and has practice kitchen for the guests. Scrambled eggs for breakfast were nice If you like the TOTAL mandala/yoga/Buddhist style with a gong and constant background music combined with radio frontage other side and the planes ✈️ flying in and out 30 m above your head = your place

AustraliaThe rooms were a little small and the bathrooms were a bit dark/ seemed unclean. The internet didn't work well at all in the dorm, but worked fine in the common areas.
The hostel has really nice and relaxing common areas which felt very chill. The beds were nice and private, with curtains and a lamp. The breakfast was great value for money. There were also really cute cats :)

BelgiumThe bathrooms smell and are old, plus they are not enough for the amount of people. There are cats and dogs and it's not written in the description, I like animals but I'm allergic and it was a bit annoying that the cats could enter the dormitory.

AustraliaLate May 2023. An interesting exercise in space management; like a doll's house. An example of how to cram everything into tiny spaces on several floors. Very kitsch! Best to sleep with your pack inside in your cassette-style bunk. Even though it was cold outside it got very HOT during the night with little or no air circulation. If you are a big person this is not for you as there is hardly room for two FLACOS to pass without bumping.
Just a few blocks walk to the airport bus line. Not far from the bus terminal from other parts but be sure the cab turns on his meter and fo not pay extra if he produces an invoice! Friendly young staff.

Israel1. The room is so crowded, and there is an exaggerated density there (13 people in one room, and it was not mentioned in Booking). There was no place to put my big muchilla except in the passage. Very uncomfortable. 2. There were no windows in the room. Thus, there was no air circulation, and the smell was bad! 3. There was a cat that walked around on and between the beds, very disgusting. 4. There was no entrance door to the shared bathroom, thus there is no privacy when you're going out from the shower and need to dry yourself and to dress up! 5. The WiFi was bad and very slow.
1. The high cleanness standard 2. There are towels near the sinks in the shared bathroom. 3. There was a certain for full privacy.

Costa RicaThe dorms are really tiny. Everything is packed. like sardines in a can! I was charged 8% more of the Booking.com rate for paying with my Visa card. I complained but they just. told me to leave if I wanted to.
I did NOT liked the place. Would not recommend it, unless you don have money.

HungaryMost of the staff members were very nice, some actually gossiped very nasty things in Spanish about the guests in general and I could understand all of it. Wifi was not that strong, even tho the 5G towers were beaming on top of the terrace... interesting, no? Bathrooms were very small and dirty.
Breakfast, comfy bed, clean bed

Chinathe staff was stoned, first thing they did when we arrived was offer us weed, that doesnt annoy us but they were difficult to communicate with. the room was a shared room with other people we did not know, and in order to have some key closet to keep our things, the staff condition was that they kept our passports all the time!! and not only one but one passport per each key. the condition was either this or we did not have a closed place to leave our stuff! also the room was full of holes for the cats to go through, they should have put this in the description because two of our group have a huge allergy to cats. Overall the place was clean, but the staff was very unprofessional and the passports was making us doubt a lot. I would never do that. Also!!!! for every foreigner that goes to Colombia first time! Transport from airport El Dorado in Bogota to the hostel should be Max 30.000 pesos per car of 3-4 people, the hostel wanted us to pay 30.000 pesos per PERSON!! is everything recorded in the booking chat. Very cheap hostel, but the staff was completely untrust.

United StatesExtremely cramped dorm and bathroom. Not a lot of windows on the level with reception and dorms. I was not comfortable here. (Maybe private room experience is better) The breakfast was lacking: rubbery and bland eggs and bread.
Decent common areas. Dorm had comfortable beds with curtains. $20 mil pesos taxi from Terminal S.A. Close to airport.
