The Oresca staff is extremely service oriented and welcoming! Thank you also to Lou who took care for my breakfast what was really nice. Everything was clean and almost feels like a hotel. It's a quiet area, close to stores and 2min from the airport. Perfect for my late night arrival. Definitely a recommendation!

Ricardo and all the ladies were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was rich and tasty, selection from two menus, every day a bit different. I could use the kitchen corner and use the washing machine to do my laundry. One lazy afternoon I spent with a book in the hammock. Great location, very close to the airport and about 300m to the beach.

The hostal staff was very friendly and supportive. The communication upfront, during and after our stay was exceptional. The airport is in walking distance, but it is still not loud. Downtown Cartagena is 15 to 20 minutes taxi drive.

-the shower never got hot but it was tolerable since it was super hot out

-5 minute walk from the airport (perfect if you have an early flight out or late flight coming in) -hosts were super accommodating: we were running late from a tour in old town but host let us check in later -host helped us order food from a restaurant nearby via WhatsApp -host woke up early at 4:30am just to make sure we had everything we need and helped us get sorted to get to the airport -the cutest cats and dogs

Had a comfy 3 nights stay in a private room with AC. The hostel’s a quick 5-minute walk from the airport and just a 10-minute drive to the city center. Marbella and Ricardo, the owners, are fantastic—they really care about making your stay great. They went many extra steps to provide me with all the information I needed. The breakfast the ladies cook is delicious and I even got lucky with lunch! Big thanks for the awesome stay—I totally recommend this place!

It’s a bit noisy early in the morning when the ladies who clean come to prepare breakfast. Other than that, everything was fine.

Hosts were very nice and kind and gave us recommendations about the city and things to explore. Location is great, safe neighborhood and close to the airport. Beach is also nearby.

There was nothing not to like for us. Even my wife who is afraid of dogs liked the kind dogs who were at the perimeter.

All the staff is very kind! Ricardo is a great host, he is welcoming, attentive and helpful! We really enjoyed meeting him, his family, pets and staff! It is a simple yet charming place mostly for the ambiance created by the people! It is really close to the airport, but not too noisy. The old center and Getsemani are around 15 minutes by car, which is great. I would go back and recommand, you will feel welcomed and at ease when arriving in Carthagena, especially for young women!

What was supposed to be a private bathroom was across the hall and facing a neighbouring room.

The owners, Ricardo and Maribel were very accomodating as were their excellent staff. Location close to the airport was fabulous. They brought in a small table to act as a desk for which I was grateful. The air-conditioning worked great. Cab rides to the old city and Bocagrande were inexpensive.
