The bathroom could be a bit nicer. It was a bit noisy in the evenings but if you want peace and quiet, don't go to Palomino in the first place. :)

The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbour's conversations, either above or on either side of your room. Some mosquitos get through the door and screens, but it's not so bad. No more than a couple bites per night. The bed wasn't that comfortable

The pool area was quite relaxing and the staff super helpful and friendly. The bedroom layout worked great and we appreciated having a table and chairs just outside the room, as well as a guardrail to dry our bathing suits. The restaurant was good enough for us to go twice, in addition to breakfast.

Great location on the main strip, the pool was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and made the stay very comfortable. There is water available to guests and there are multiple breakfast options. Hammocks and kitchen facilities were also great.

Missing a few kitchen items, such as spoons and a lighter for the stove. Not much of a social hostel as mostly guests were couples or families. The sockets in the room were not close to the beds

I had a great and comfortable stay at Primaluna hostel. The staff was very nice and attentive, the location was right on the main road and it was close to the beach. The swimming pool was a life saver as it was super hot and the beach is not inviting at all. The dorm was clean and spacious, with a clean bathroom and mosquito nets in every bed. No air conditioning but lots of fans so it didn't feel hot in the dorm. They also have a kitchen where you can cook your meals

Everything was perfect.

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Super friendly staff. Restaurant has really good food. Pool is beautiful, and even has a nice little gym! Rooms were clean, comfortable, with A/C and great bathroom. Amazing stay, and will definitely be back!

Internet could be better

The attention of the staff is just amazing. Upon checking in I was offered a different dorm that was still empty rather than moving me into the dorm I had booked that was almost full. They make sure you feel super welcome at any time. The place is very very clean (dorm, public bathrooms, public kitchen, pool restaurant etc.) The area is quiet at night, but feels very safe due to night guard. Breakfast is great, you get to choose one of four dishes from the menu of which one would be able to order vegan (fruit salad+granola) all the rest possible veggie (try the local breakfast)!

The beds are really uncomfortable: hard and just painful to sleep on for a couple of days. We were staying in a deluxe room but even there the beds were not great.

Nice atmosphere, relaxed, green, clean, the pool area js nice. Relatively quiet. Location is great, near the beach in the street where most of the restaurants/bars are.

The room we booked had a broken AC so the staff upgraded us to a better room, no fuss, no extra fee which was massively appreciated. The swimming pool was great, the kitchen facilities and communal areas were very relaxing too. Excellent location

The only 2 negatives: - the dorm was extremely hot. Fans are provided but the rotation didn’t work on any of them meaning the air didn’t actually circulate over any of the beds - there is definitely more of a family feel here with children frequently in the pool, at the pool table etc so it’s a little harder to meet other travellers here

Lovely hostel, spotlessly clean with a great size pool. Top quality food at reasonable prices and decent breakfast included in the room rate. Spacious dorms with plenty of storage space for bags and lockers for each guest. Super friendly staff and a good range of tour/excursion options from the reception desk. Great location 2 mins from the beach and right on the main strip of restaurants.

Stayed in a cabin which was lovely. Big bathroom, big double bed with mosquito net, nice pool to sit in or round, hospitable staff and reasonable breakfast. Location was close to everything in Palomino but was quiet and had all that you needed.
