We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

BelgiumA bit of maintance of certain sections is warranted. I feel that the need to cross the river by foot should be more clearly communicated because crossing the bridge with a big bag would be particularly difficult for certain people. Finally, we had a cold shower on all three days and the water came out in a single stream from a pipe with no shower head. Not a huge constraint, but did make the end of the day slightly more uncomfortable.
Lovely setting, friendly staff and, if you like animals, they are great company when in common areas. Food was simple but good quality and tasty. Overall great stay and we were happy to be there.

South AfricaNothing , it was great!
The bed may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I felt like a princess and the bungalow was so ideal to just relax in the hammock. Julian was an incredible host and I really enjoyed chatting to him! And then I met Miguel on my last night and he was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Also special mention Nino, Jack and Milo, I loved the doggo loves!!

CroatiaGreat place, close to the main road that connects several Tayrona national park entrances. But still, divided by a small river from the village and surrounded by rainforest trees. Awesome hosts, we got excellent recommendations how to trek the Tayrona NP. If you arrive by car that is of no issue, you can park in front of the house close to the path that takes you to accommodation suites. We paid to house owners a fee of 6000 COP per night for parking. It was perfectly safe. Diners were awesome, make sure to try local craft beers from Santa Marta ;)

United KingdomThe room was well presented, comfortable and very clean. The staff were helpful and caring. It's remote location might not be for everyone and it was awkward to access, either by wading across a river or via a suspension bridge.

CroatiaParadise is the best word I could use to describe the accommodation. In the middle of the nature, with lovely pet animals, amazing food and drinks and mini bar in the bungalow, amazing river. Miguel Angel was really helpful and described in detail where we should go to the national park, also was happy to give some personal advices I asked for. The whole experience will make you wanna move there.

ColombiaThe food was good but could be slightly improved upon, but maybe it's because, since I'm a vegetarian, my options were limited.
I had a great stay at Tyrona paradise! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the whole place was incredibly authentic and felt very isolated from civilisation, which was great. Everything was squicky clean and the place is barely 10 minutes by bus from the main entrance to the Tyrona National park, which is very convenient. I would 100% recommend!

Italynothing, everything perfect!
Everything was perfect about Tayrona Paradise. the room, the whole place, really nice breakfast and food, absolutely lovely staff always so friendly and so helpful with all the questions I had about what to do in the area. the posada is in a very convenient location too, very close to the main road (but you would not hear the traffic at all and you’ll be completely immersed in nature) so very easy to get the local bus to explore the surroundings. highly recommended to everyone!

United KingdomI can’t fault anything, and this is not a negative point but it’s important to note that you need to cross a slim wooden bridge (someone helps you to carry your suitcases across) to get to the hotel. This would be difficult if you are not able bodied. But overall, this is all part of the adventure to get to paradise.
This is definitely paradise, it’s so beautiful that you don’t want to leave. We were so happy…..we stayed an extra two nights. The staff are really helpful and quickly become like your family, the food is delicious! The rescue dogs and cats are the cherry on the top - they are so playful and loving and we were sad to say goodbye to them. There are monkeys, chickens, frogs, beautiful mango trees and plants, natural pool…. the list is endless. Not to mention the most amazing river just outside your door, which we dipped into each day after coming back from our excursions. If you want to experience real Colombian hospitality and surroundings - this is the place for you. It’s close to Tayrona Park which is breathtaking and you can get there by bus, which stops outside the entrance of the hotel. We hired two motorbike taxis who took us to Palomino, stopping off at various places on the way - this cost £15 for five hours, a good way to see the beauty around you. I loved this place so much, I want to bring all of my family here next year.

GermanyThe fresh fish turned out was frozen so it didn’t taste right.
I had to park my car across a rocky river or walk 15 minutes acros a suspension bridge. I slipped many times in the river, lost my slippers, barefoot walking on the rocky road to get back to the car to get another pair of shoes. I was drenched carrying my bags walking 15 minutes to my car after checking out. The only thing I liked was the receptionist and the staff who were very friendly and helpful, and Mike speaks English was a huge bonus.

United KingdomI was expecting much more tranquillity here. Despite the river running on two sides, there is a lot of traffic noise from the main road and music blasting from around. The shower is a cold pipe of water. Sadly, the food is quite uninspiring.
The owners are very nice and helpful people. There are lots of cats, dogs and chickens which are fun. The place is set amongst beautiful plants and there are hammocks to lay in. The surrounding area has some good walking places, up the stream that runs alongside the property.

United Kingdomthe dinner food was awful/inedible, breakfast is very limited with extra costs for juice, but there are some restaurants about 20 min walk away, the wifi was average and weak in the room, tv channels were limited (no smart tv), the room was very dark, overpriced for the the quality.
well maintained site and the rooms feel very unique, the bungalows have a private feel, nice deck area with hammock, staff were very friendly, easy bus to parque and beach.

United StatesI accidentally arrived at the wrong entrance and the receptionist gave me a really hard time about coming to meet me / open the gate. Would not have been such a big deal, but I was in a different country where I don't speak the language and was already relying on strangers to help me who were nicer then the receptionist. Additionally, in the morning my car did not arrive on time. I was trying to get in touch with the company and asked the receptionist if there was a phone I could use to make a call (again, traveling in a foreign country and my phone did not have service) to which he said there was none (or no land / local line) and that his phone did not have service... but then 5 seconds later I saw him talking on the phone... so that felt a bit rude.
the total grounds were pretty nice -- lovely jungle feel, good for relaxing. I also got an AMAZING massage that the receptionist was able to coordinate for that same evening I arrived. The massage therapist even brought aloe for my sunburns which I was grateful for and tipped her well. She was a godsend.

United StatesIt’s not so much that I didn’t like it, but it was a little confusing to get there. The entrance I was dropped off at didn’t have a foot bridge, so with the help of a local we crossed the low river. I didn’t mind it as it added to the adventure. My only suggestion is giving guests more clear instructions on how to get to the property.
The property is well designed. There is lots of shade. My balcony had a hammock and lounge chair that overlooked the river. I appreciated that there was a restaurant on site. It made dinner very easy. My room was exactly like the picture only better in person. The bed was comfortable and it was great having a private bathroom. Also, Miguel was so helpful with things to do. I didn’t have a set itinerary and his suggestions really helped me make the most of my 2.5 days there.
