Breakfast could run a little longer/later, didn't manage to take advantage of it.

Fantastic facilities and bathrooms, jacuzzi is a nice bonus. AC in room was great and location can't be beaten for centrality. The beds, pillows and sheets were really comfortable - overall one of the best hostels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in a few!

The first night the WiFi went down and then the power went out for a few hours which then meant there was no hot water in the bathrooms so we had cold showers. This then happened the 2nd and 3rd nights of our stay. There were about 40 people in one room with 3 bathrooms so you could never get in the bathroom and people would take forever. The breakfast is advertised on booking.com as from 7:00-10:00 however the piece of paper you sign at check in says 07:00-09:00 but it’s actually from 07:30-08:50 so we missed it one day which is annoying when you have paid for breakfast.

THE TOILET SITUATION: 2 per room of like 30 people. Sometimes they just lock them. It's a shower and a toilet in the same room so you feel super rushed to wash as someone is always knocking and waiting to pee. You Won't Sleep. Someone comes to clean at like 4.30am and the breakfast is 7am right outside a curtain to the bedroom. No DOOR! No real cooking allowed (depends on who is working),

Some nice staff. Great location. Area to dry clothes. Fridges to store drinks. Most of the staff are super kind and trying so hard.

BE WARE OF FREQUENT WATER OUTAGE AT THIS PLACE!!! Service-3 stars: staff are so so. If you're in the hospitality business... you gotta know some English & be some what helpful & extra friendly when the water is out. Management needs to do better at training their staff. Breakfast is a small portion of salty scrambled eggs, 2 slices of toast, a cup of fruit & a cup of nasty second class coffee-ironic that Colombia is known for coffee but... let's move on. Spend a little extra and go support other local businesses that have better coffee and cheap bread a few doors down. Room-my private opened into a flight of stairs & good luck those who have large feet. Upon my arrival, the room was sweltering like a sauna. The AC was off & no one care to get it ready. At night the AC wouldn't go into its auto cycle so it ran constantly all night long. The light on the AC couldn't be turned off so it was also a night light above my head. In a private room, you are offered 2 towels instead of having to pay 10K COP for one. It was mostly quiet bc of the AC background noise until almost breakfast time. For the amount of money, just grab a boutique hotel nearby so you can get your money's worth elsewhere!

Location-5 stars: this place is located at a very convenient location, which makes it very walkable and fun to see all the vendors and shops nearby. Very IG worthy but that's about it.

The city was short on water and only 2 toilets and 1 shower was made available for use for the whole hostel. This was not necessarily the hostel's fault but the staff are not friendly nor accommodating at all. We asked for breakfast 15 minutes early and they refused.

The guy named Ariel who works in the hostel robbed me money for some non-significant laundry BS. I said quietly to keep that small amount of money he robbed, and i would write a bad review. He then canceled my booking so i can't write it (i guess i will pay twice for the "no show"), So i booked another night just to write this current review so you guys can be aware that this Ariel is a thieve. When i asked to talk to the boss, he said he was the boss (which is a lie), and agressively said i will not sleep in the hostel one more night, even if i paid it, and threatened to call the police, but obviously he never called them because he was lying to scare me up, and was aware about what he did. Guys, please pay caution with this Ariel guy who stole, lied, was agressive, disrespectful, and cheated by canceling the booking so i can't write this review, non professional at all. I hope the "real boss" from the hostel will explain him how to treat tourists. The other people working there are all professional and respectful.

There are only 2 big rooms with the bunkbeds so about 16-20 beds per room and only 2 toilets/showers per room so basically it’s never free. There’s no atmosphere in this hostel and it’s very noisy before of the street noise. Breakfast is included but the most horrible salty eggs you have ever tasted. Definitely won’t be coming back there.

When we arrived they overcharged us significantly and were dismissive about this and kept passing us over to other staff. You just get a wristband for entry which makes you feel unsafe, there’s no locks on doors and anyone could wander in. There’s only seven bathrooms for at least 60 guests which means a lot of waiting around to use them at peak times. Only one woman cooking and serving breakfast for everyone which is just unrealistic and takes forever, and there isn’t enough seats for everyone to sit down for breakfast. We did eventually receive a refund on check out, but this was handed to us without a word from the staff which again felt really rude. All in all, if you’re using this hostel as a quick stop before travelling onwards, it is okay, but for a longer stay would not recommend at all.

The location was really good, although quite loud at night. 10 minute walk to the pier which is ideal for going to the islands.

We would have expected better for a private room. But we were surrounded by fan and AC which was running 24/7 with an immense loudness. The breakfast (however for the price and a hostel I would not downvote it) was simple and spartanic. A small fruit bowl, eggs and a toast with mamelade, thats it.

The look and feel is very nice and the location is right in the middle of the old town.

The bathroom in the morning had a huge queue! The issue is the fact that there are not toilets separated from the showers. The bathrooms are in good condition and clean tho.

The location is top! We had the superior double bed and I have to say it’s an interesting accommodation! Breakfast was good and the staff very nice!

Not clean enough, 3 bathrooms for 50 people means dirty bathrooms and queues for toilets, a bit smelly in dorms, night staff smoke too much weed to keep you safe at night, cockroaches around the beds, they scam you with breakfast that is earlier than half the guests get up (9am), breakfast staff were rude.

We booked a private room with en-suite. The image has a window. We did not have a window in the room. There was one small thin blanket to share between two- no sheet. The pictures have a luxury soap but it was just a wrapped bar of the cheapest soap available. We used our own. We had to use a towel to cover ourselves. Didn’t see anyone use the jacuzzi - wouldn’t have myself either. Don’t think it was worth the cost of around £65. For a little more we could have had a proper hotel (and windows).

This is on one of the busiest street in the Old Town so if you’re looking for that location it’s good. The en-suite bathroom was clean. The staff at the front desk are friendly.

Staff unfriendly apart from the woman who made breakfast and seemed to do everything while those on reception sat their phones. Only one bathroom for about 20 beds. Two others were locked for my first two nights and then on the final night they were opened. No sheet or blanket unless you ask.

Toilets were really dirty and all toilet seats were broken. Not enough toilets/showers. Nowhere to hang f.ex a wet towel next to your bed.

I didn't like the fact that there was no hot water for showering or that there were only 3 bathrooms available which was always occupied. The staff cleaned the main areas but not our individual "rooms" unless the person has checked out. I had also seen a cockroach in the kitchen which made me move out the next day.

I liked the location of the hostel. It made exploring the town very convenient.

There is not enough electricity in the building for all the rooms. The staff batlantly lies to you telling the problem has been going on for just 24 hours and should be fixed soon. In reality, I overheard other hostel staff and learnt that the problem has been going on for weeks now. The hostel just pretends to be working on it by connecting different rooms to the electricity at times. They have no intention to fix because they would need to shut down for a couple of days. I booked with enough time and was never told about the situation, in order to book another place. I was told until I got there and couldn't get another booking. They never offered a discount or a negotiation, but where offering discounts for new guests without bookings. If you do decide to stay, you should know that you won't have electricity during the whole stay and should negotiate a better price.
