Not a great fit for cycle tourist. I think my experience is a little different from most people's because I'm lugging around a bicycle. Keep that in mind So! Difficult to find because the entry is a gift shop the staircase was very narrow for my bike. There weren't many areas to hang out with other people besides one small couch in front of a TV. The kitchen was very basic with no tables to eat at aside from a bar, the entrance to the bunk beds was very narrow for my bike and the sound from the street was a little loud. The showers are visible from the front desk and the bathroom/sink area is cramped. The ceiling by the showers has black mold growing so it needs better ventilation. Towels cost 3,000 so my total bill was basically 40,000. My last accommodation in Salento was an eco lodge for the same price and came with a private room, towels and free breakfast.

Nice hot showers, fun vibe with lots of info on what to do, staff is chill and easy going. Liked the bed and the fun art/scribbles In the common area. Good Internet.

Because of the loud music from bar near by I could not sleep properly. If you are planning to do an early morning hike,this is not a good place to be. The receptionist was also playing loud music during the day as well. It was not my taste hence little bit annoying.

unfortunately there was no water on the first day until 10.30pm and the second day I took a cold bucket shower. Seems many accommodations suffer with the water shortage? The floor boards also move excessively so I didn’t sleep much with the people in the dorm getting in and out of bed all night. Felt like being on a rough ship sailing rough waters!

The host was very helpful and very attentive and a genuinely nice person :-) This was the best part of my stay as they helped me with tourism advise around the region.

The Guy at the Rezeption was amazing. He Help you If you want with planning your hikes, Coffee Trip and Everthing. He have a really good english which IS Not normal in south america. Every day free Activitys😋😁 in the middle of the Village.

I had a great time here! The rooms are clean, very social hostel, helpful staff :) The only thing is, the walls are very thin and it get a bit noisy at night with cracking floor boards, squeaking doors….

So noisy, no space whatsoever. Within half an hour, I had been hit by a toilet door whilst trying to get to the sinks, there's no way to dodge this either as there's a kind of wall. Nowhere to put your bags and you feel everything! I'm talking any movement within the hostel. Fine if you're a heavy sleeper and not claustrophobic.

Unfortunately, the place is horrible. The floor is made with old wood and it's very noisy. When anyone walks, it's like an earthquake. If someone move in the night, you will be woken up (even with earplugs). And it's in the main street, quite loud in the weekend. The toilets and shower are very tiny, so that if you go out at the same time of someone else you risk to receive the door on the face. The shower is uncomfortable, no place to hang stuff. The doors are made of rusty iron. The beds are ok, with curtains, but there is no space where to put your stuff and no lockers! And it's not safe, because all the time the door at the entrance wasn't really closed and anyone could come up and steal stuff (luckily it didn't happen) And it doesn't really have much common space. For the same price or cheaper you can get a better accommodation nearby the center

The adress on booking could have been more precise (not just the street name) . I got lost and ended on the other part of town.

I really enjoyed this hostel. It's very close to the bus station and is in a safe part of town. The atmosphere was very nice, and it's easy to make friends! Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very old facility and room is super crowed so you can not sleep well. Also there has a bar a bit noisy when night. Bathroom is very tiny and you can’t put your stuff inside. Everything is limited and price turn higher than before so may be have more and better option to choose there.

They don't give automatically a top sheet so everywhere just sleep directly with the same blanket which is disgusting. First time I see this in a hostel. 3 toilets are not enough for everyone and it often doesnt have toilet paper. Plugs were not holding correctly and are the worst i ve seen in Colombia. not good for batteries to cut all the time. lockers for everyone are all in one room.

The wooden floor is pretty old, so whenever someone was walking in the room my bed was shaking. Furthermore, the toilets are in the common area so no privacy. You can hear everyone who is going to the toilet.

The location is great and it is a quite affordable hostel.
