(I was staying at a single room). 1) Freezing in the room, particularly the first night, and there were no blankets in the room 2) Humidity smell in the room 3) Bed/pillows a bit old and dusty/smelly of humidity 4) TV didn’t manage to work it out in the room, not sure if not working or not user-friendly. If it works, a guide in the room would help 5) There is no kettle in the room or the kitchen. This would be great to have

A lot of things were great: 1) The staff in reception, who give you a personalised and sweet service (Leo, Camila and Mary). Also the waiter (Douglas? Sorry, very bad at remembering names) was super friendly. 2) Breakfast was outstanding. Congratulations to the chef! 3) The hostel itself is beautiful and has plenty of spaces for socialising 4) All very clean 5) Walking and bike tours offered by the hostel were nice

Toilet didn’t flush very well

Nice communal area and good value breakfast. We were able to check in early and sleep after our flight which was great. Friendly hostel staff!

The lighting in the rooms is inadequate. In the bathroom women can’t do their makeup, shaving is tough for men

Great staff (friendly and very helpful) and wonderful location with many bars, restaurants, and sights within walking distance. Food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. The events hosted by the hostel were fantastic and a great way to meet other travelers.

The breakfast was quite expensive and not much of a verriety.

It's probably the best hostel in that area. The suite was very confy and spacious with a modern touch. Has it's own walkway and patio. The location is close to the mainstreet, and Chorro de Quevedo.

Everything. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Andy and his family run a great hostel. Relaxed and a really beautiful building. Love that it’s an independent hostel and the ‘pod’ dorms are next level. Spent NYE at the hostel where they put on a ripping bbq and had a lot of their friends around creating a great vibe.

Perfectly located in the old city center, only a few minutes walk to the main spots and plenty of bars just around the corner. Open, perfectly friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are basic but completely fine for a 2 or 3 nights stay (and also larger than most of the other hostel rooms we have lived in).

The food available on site it great value and really delicious. You can also make use of the onsite kitchen if you prefer. Lots of trips and tours are organised from the hostel. All good value. The bike tour was particularly good. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It's in a great location.

The room was really clean and worth the price. I love the privacy. The staff were so kind and approachable. I love that it is a social hostel since I met so many different people from different walks of life. Would stay again there.

I found the bathroom floor to be very slippery and there was no mat of any kind to stand on. I agree with another reviewer that the music volume in the common area is too high and makes it difficult to chat.

I've stayed in many hostels around the world and this has to be in the top 3, maybe even no.1! The place was clean and very comfortable and the staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Andrew, the owner, loves to make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. Transport to and from the airport was arranged for me and they also have sim cards available if you need one. There are a number of activities you can do and I highly recommend the walking tour with Nick that included food tasting and a game of tejo. Great fun! The BBQ was also good and the food was yummy. There is a bar/cafe on site that is reasonably priced, the breakfast is especially good and the guys working it are great. My bed was comfortable (single attic room) and although the room was tiny it was private and very cosy and with natural ventilation (no window but this also meant limited street noise). I loved this hostel so much, I'll be staying there again before I leave beautiful Colombia.
