Really good experience in Tukawa ! The place is great and staff are really nice and helpful ! Full of advices. If you come around finlandia or salento, you should check it out ! Great activities are proposed by the hostel. I really recommend it and hope I'll be back soon !

Everything was pretty good. I don't speak french, and think my stay would have been slightly better if I had because the owners and lots of people staying there during the time I was there spoke french. Also I wasn't used to the altitude and had a hard time adjusting.

A beautiful place in the middle of a coffee plantation and a banana farm,(not close to much else!) they can arrange transport services from the nearest towns if you need. The lunches were delicious. Sitting by the river was a great way to disconnect.

The road to get there is just in terrible shape so not only is the place out of town, it just takes forever to get there. There is no transportation close by that works. I ended up walking two hours into town because the only transport that could get me there never came. Also, the receptionist was as nice as she could be nasty- and the nasty is what we tend to remember. She wasn’t there to please the customers. Finally, i think they could really kill the breakfast t thing by making the most of all the cheap, amazing fruit that grows in this country. We got a tiny portion of fruit and i think that’s an easy fix and it would be so much better.

I liked the setting, the set up, the pool, the ambiance.

This is a little heaven on earth! It's quite a journey to get there (45 mins in a Jeep on a very bumpy road). The view from the garden and the pool is simply amazing and the place really radiates peace. The food at diner is amazing. At lunch you get colombian cuisine and you should make sure you like cilantro (which I don't, but otherwise it's good). They offer nice activities, especially the lunch at 'el padre' is really good!! The staff is friendly and helpfull, but sometimes it's clear that they are searching for the best way to manage everything (working with volunteers, breakfast, ...). But they do such a good job for only being open since last year! Totally recommend and would love to go back!

This is one of those places that immediately feels like home, where you meet people that instantly turn into friends, and where the days pass and you don't want to leave. The place is gorgeous, the pool and the view stunning and common areas very cosy. Enough nice and democratic activities to do, board games or ping pong tournaments for chill evenings, great omnipresent atmosphere all-around. The food is good and the staff super friendly, especially the owners that are very attent to customer needs. The beds were super comfortable and the decoration well-thought. We happened to be there on a Saturday where a nice party with all the hostel guest occured and we had a blast. The coffee is very tasty and is produced there, many of the fruits and vegetables are home-grown too which make us love the project even more. Overall this is one of the best places we have had the chance to stay at in our travels. Thank you for everything, we hope to meet you guys again sometime, maybe in Brussels? Cheers!

Chicos, beware, This place is an incredible hidden gem ! I still cannot believe how unique and blissful this place is. I honestly did not expect to be that amazed by that place. We originally planned to stay there for a short time, but ended up spending more than a week there for how amazed we were by it. This hostal is a one of its kind marvel ; in the middle of the coffee fields and the gorgeous Colombian nature, you will find there peace, joy, beauty and friendship. They managed to transform an old farm into a modern and comfy hostel, nonethless still totally preserving its farmer side and its authenticity. The views are breathtaking no matter where you look at, the wildlife and the flora are out of this world. The founders are super friendly people, who will always greatly respond to any of your demands and pay special attention to be sure you spend the perfect holiday. Having tested the different sleeping options, from the dormitory to the private cabin, each of them have their own charm - special mention to the mindblowing views offered by the cabin. Y ou will find there plenty of activities to do, from discovering the secrets of their coffee culture, to exploring the surroundings (Filandia, Salento etc.), passing by enjoying the swimming pool, playing board games & ping pong, eating at El Padre (a must-do) and of course just enjoying the bliss of nature <3 The food made by their cooks is delicious, both the energy breakfast as the various meals are super tasty. Last but surely not least, they organize friendly events which is a nice way to meet new people. For backpapers, couples or families, this marvelous hostel is the ideal place to connect with the nature and meet amazing people. Be sure to stay there at least several days to enjoy everything it has to offer. 200% recommendable

The hostel is in a remote location, getting there and back is a challenge on your own schedule. The breakfast is pretty small and without much options.

The hostel is in the middle of coffee and banana farms which is wonderful. The dorm room is comfortable and spacious. The free coffee is excellent when made fresh. The infinity pool is a nice touch to chill and relax.

First, you can't get there by car, and that's where everything starts great because it means you would not have any noise of the city, just the river and birds. The place is unique, beautiful with a modern design but keeping it in touch with nature, the staff was amazing, really kind, they picked us at the parking lot and guide us through the road, always helpful with any request. The room is perfectly clean and comfy, and the food is delicious!! We will sure come back. Thank you guys for the great experience!

It is a party hostal, which wasn't I was looking for. I thought given its remote location, it would have a calmer ambience, but it was a party vibe with a lot of french people. The owner had a fight with the chef in front of the clients, which was strange.

I hope the owners take this feedback to improve minor things with their staff: If a dining table is reserved for another guest, please allocate a 'reserved' sign over the table: It felt uncomfortable the way the staff asked us to stand up because the spot we choose to sit down for dinner was the favourite spot for another guest, so we had to move. Then we realized the dinner area was for smokers as well, so maybe allocating a couple of signs or explaining to the guests about people being able to smoke in the main dinner/bar area will be great. It felt a bit difficult to find a spot for non-smokers during dinner time. Also, the way the place is advertised is: perfect for being far away from the city noise, in the middle of the mountains, Enjoying Colombian landscapes, very far from everything etc. I chose a quiet room to relax and enjoy nature with my dad, however, it was a bit difficult due to loud music until late at night. It felt a bit of a party vibe late at night on a Tuesday in the middle of the mountains where you are looking for some peaceful time. Lastly, a quick one: In the main rooms please allocate at least 2 pillows per person or maybe a pair of cushions. I hope you take this feedback with a positive/improvement approach. Thank you

Nice swimming pool, clean facilities, delicious food and the owners are very friendly. I love the fact you can enjoy the pool and downhill you can enjoy a natural river. European vibe in the middle of the Colombian landscape.

no kitchen, so you have to pay for lunch and dinner which are expensive (25-30k per meal). also there is almost always loud music playing, so I wish there were more peaceful places to hang away from the music!

Absolutely beautiful environment, the pool is awesome, food is delicious, staff is kind, lots of games to play and a big tv for movie nights!

The owner completely drunk everyday yelling at his staff then hugging/kissing the guest made me uncomfortable. This is a party hostel with noise and loud music everyday and Saturday you will not sleep till 4 am.

The place is really beautiful. The activities were nice.
